Trump's comments about Jewish people have me curious, what is the ratio of Jewish people who vote Democrat vs Republican? I feel like it's heavily weighted to the Democrat side, but I'm not actually sure.

It is. For the last several decades, Jewish voters have voted for Democratic Presidential candidates ~70% of the time.
In the 2016 election for example, about 70% went for Clinton while about 25% went for Trump.

Depending on the person it may be a combination of greedy assholes (especially upper class types) and yes, still anti-intellectual assholes since the assumption that a government should be run like a business goes against pretty much everything we know about how government actually operates.
I thought that was more of "the rich knows everything and can do no wrong" mentality.
