I've heard that the general consensus is that it plays more like Call of Duty Hardcore S&D and/or Counter-Strike than classic Rainbow Six.
Now I'm gonna be honest, I like the former two and have never really played the latter but eh I'm probably not gonna get it since I don't like Ubisoft all that much.

Amazon is giving away free Siege closed beta codes!
Also, someone change the forum title to Rainbow Six: Siege. "4" is kinda confusing, no?
Got my Xbox One beta code. Installing.
Siege won't have a single-player campaign. The co-op mode is the most story you will get, it seems.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotI don't get why everyone is surprised over this, didn't they outright say it was multilayer only right when it was announced?
Then again they also made it seem like it was gonna be a $30 XBLA/PSN game and not a full retail release so maybe they haven't really done a good job marketing the thing.
Corrected thread title per request.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Great, because "Rainbow Six 4" is confuzzling.
So ummm... it just came out today.
I've been seeing lots of peeps showing netcode problems but besides the netcode issues how does the game actually play? As someone who's "main comp game" is CSGO these days how does it compare to it (I'll admit I'm only Master Guardian 1 so I'm not even all that good but out of all the shooty bang bang games it's one I've been playing the most lately so yeah..)
It is nice to see some European police forces/special forces as the heroes rather than just the US like in most modern shooters, though the game still looks generic and the online-only thing is a huge turnoff for me after what happened with MAG, not to mention some of the other terrible stuff Ubisoft have done in recent years.
So, uhhh
Season Two's first update's happening November 17 featuring Japan?
Nope, it's the last season of Year 1 featuring the Aichi Special Assault Team.
I think a Year 2 has been confirmed, but details on that are still vague.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotSaid Year 2's start is due for February.

And here's Tachanka's VA hitting the limit of what the microphone can actually comprehend.

The Tom Clancy Game Universe is getting strange. First, your hunting the Predator in Ghost Recon Wildlands, and now, Team Rainbow is fighting alien zombies.
We have the new operator trailer
Finka having that much exposed skin is just plain weird in context.

Si Vis Pacem, Para PerkeleFor everyone saying “for the most secretive organization, there holding a 5v5 tournament in front of thousands” When blitz ask if it is going to be on the television, Harry respond with “for internal uses” probably indicating that the audience is just people apart of the cia and other organizations of that range.
Rainbow Six: Siege will be released on October 13th 2015.
