Regarding the rumors of a Super Mario 3D World Deluxe. I remember wanting 3D World on the Wii U to have DLC that added new levels like a world that were to have Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings as the bosses at the end of each level or for Daisy, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi to be playable.
For a Mario 64 remaster/remake. I really hope that it will be based off Super Mario 64 DS considering it added at least 30 new stars, new characters, and a few new areas. I’d love for people to be able to appreciate the changes in DS without the D-Pad getting in the way. But unless it’s a full on remake. It’s most likely going to be based on the original.

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameThere's all sorts of small improvements to any of the 3D Mario titles.
Making the blue coin hunts easier (and offering an actual decent reward for getting all 120 shine spirtes) is an easy fix for Mario Sunshine for example.
Imagine if collecting all the shine sprites in Sunshine unlocked Luigi with a modified Poltergust.

I missed the part where that's my problem. No it's not...none of the 3D Mario games have "decent" 100% rewards.
Grandmaster Galaxy, Champion's Road, Darker Side are the closest things to rewards you're gonna get from a Mario game.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Now if they could fix Sunshine's atrocious plot as well.
In my experience, the other games have really good interlude rewards. For Galaxy you get all 120 then you play as Luigi, for Galaxy 2 it's the green stars then Grandmaster Galaxy. For 3d world you keep unlocking levels before you get champions road. And for Oddysey you keep unlocking things(whether it's costumes, or more levels) before you get all 836/880 moons and then fight the improved final boss. Whereas for sunshine you don't unlock any interlude rewards. It's just "have a relaxing vacation!" That famously drove Some Call Me Johnny to an alcoholic coma(not really for those who are concerned).

You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midGreen Stars aren't a 100% reward...
Neither are the special worlds before World Crown, you get those from beating Bowser...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.An unlockable level, playable Luigi, the ability to switch between Hover/Rocket/Jet without boxes; honestly you don't need anything that big as a reward.
Just something more than a postcard and a shirt, really.

Why are rewards even needed? Were the games not enough? Sure they're nice to have, but why is it necessary or desired?

I hope we get an Odyssey 2 somewhere down the line, or at least a new main Mario game. (If not a new Paper Mario is fine ^_^)
The Protomen enhanced my life.Because its a nice capper to completing the game and is a fun incentive. I can't say I've seen many games where the quality was diminished by having it, I know that much.

I'd be down with that, provided Yoshi is actually playable and not Mario's usual reptilian horse. Give Wario and Donkey Kong some screentime too, like make a stop in Kong Island and team up with the kongs.
3D World also had unlockable Rosalina. I bet Toadette will also be playable in the Deluxe version (hopefully not at Peach's exclusion!). Or maybe they'd have someone unexpected!

The Protomen enhanced my life.x7 I didn't say they were. They are rewards you get on the way to 100% after you beat the game. And often times they're pretty fun in and of themselves.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midPlaying the game should be the reward in itself. If you find yourself needing a reward to play something, then it's probably not worth playing in the first place.
Where there's life, there's hope.See I know that logically but I still log into my skinner box gacha games every day.
I find it hard to imagine a good 100% completion reward that isn’t just good for bragging rights. Almost any gameplay that can be added is something that has to be completed, meaning the prior completion wasn’t 100%.
Then again, maybe I’m being too literal about this.
SoundCloudStill doesn't hurt the game if it has it though.
I think Luigi in Mario Galaxy 1 is a great example of a compromise. Yes you can get 120 more stars as him to unlock the festival level, but even if you don't feel like doing that you can still enjoy the going through a few levels with his different mechanics. Honestly if Sunshine had a mid playthrough bonus like that, then I suspect you'd see a lot less complaints about Blue Coins and the 100% completion image.

The Spyro games worked around this by having 100% not actually being 100%, you unlock more areas and a new boss fight in Spyro 3 from what I recall and the game goes up to something like 112% when you complete those.
I know the Spyro games, but that’s not what I meant. They can call it more than 100% all they want, but it’s still 100% of the game’s content.
Though, the original versions of the second and third games’ epilogue scrapbook is one of my favorite non-gameplay rewards for clearing challenges in any game.
SoundCloudA Mario/Donkey Kong team-up would be a fun change of pace. If Pauline were in danger, that could give them a good reason to work together.
I missed the part where that's my problem.I just hope a new Paper Mario does the whole story split Thousand year door has.
Give us more Bowser.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Maybe make him a protagonist like in Super Paper Mario instead of having him be completely irrelevant to the overall plot like in TTYD if he is not the main villain.

Give him his own game already. A fully separate adventure with no princesses or plumbers in sight.
I wonder if any of the games will get bundled together? (If the rumor is indeed true.)
I feel like the Galaxy games could potentially get sold together, but having all of them bundled is probably financially a bad move.
