And whenever you get around to playing Like a Dragon, the combat's much different there. Instead of a beat-'em-up, it's a turn-based RPG.
It's been 3000 years…I know. I actually saw Like a Dragon first and thought "this is not what I thought this series was".
It ended up becoming an RPG within the last last half a year of Development time because the April Fools gameplay of it being an R Pg was originally just one off. But it was received so well, the Dev team went with it.
Watch SymphogearI could've sworn I heard at some point that one installment of this series or another was coming to Switch. Am I mistaken?
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut. You must have confused it with the announcement of some of the Yakuza remasters going to the Xbox.
It's been 3000 years…Last page I mentioned Humble Bundle is doing a deal on Yakuzas 0-2 and LAD (still good through today, btw). Another site I get game deals from, Fanatical, is offering he new Remastered collection at discount ($33, down from $40)
https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/the-yakuza-remastered-collection
I think this one's an international site, so I'd recommend PayPal if you have it. If memory serves when I've used a straight card on this site I got a fee for international charges.
Yeah, Fanatical is pretty good as far as keysites go. I know there's some others but I don't wanna step on toes.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowThe difference in difficulty between Yakuza 3's Ultimate Match and 4's is staggering. I gave up on completing 3's after hours of attempts, but I completed 4's in like 45 minutes.
Quick, someone say the perfect thing that will get me to start playing Yakuza 4 immediately.

Its his debut game, yeah. Also some of the best music in the series.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowYou guys have any tips for the cabaret battle against club Mercury?
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"That's the one where the rival drains your girl's stamina? Its a heck of a difficulty spike. Its been a while to remember too many specifics, but here goes
Make sure you're only fielding Platnum or Gold level hostesses. There are a few silvers that ate ok, but in the Mercury battle their stamina tends to be too low to be useful.
Complete substories 65 (The Obtrarian) and 68 (the disco in Sotenbori). That gets you Etsuko and Isobe. No one parties like Isobe and Etsuko is top tier with Talk (and I think high level with Love). Those two will be useful throughout the entire Cabaret Challenge.
Learn the hand signals and hit them whenever possible. They restore a little of your hostess' stamina and improves the guest's mood a level.
Using Fever Time also either keeps it from draining or slows it a lot. It can also counter the rival's fever time.
It's normal to start out behind and make up the difference. Unfortunately I don't remember how much you need to make to beat Mercury.
Man fuck Melee Match 6 in Yakuza 5's Ultimate Match Mode. It's a far too much of a Luck-Based Mission whether you pass it or not. It too me 90 minutes of wild switching before I decided to try the exact opposite strategy I had been using and managed to win with 30 seconds left. Somehow.
Rest of Ultimate Match was cake compared to that. Even the challenge where you had to knock out 9 dude in one weapon throw.
×2
Thanks.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"The Cabaret Club mini game seems easier in Kiwami 2.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"So I can confirm that grinding Infested Vegabonds on Legend Difficulty isn't worth it relative to the speed of grinding them on Normal. Didn't see any dedicated information about that elsewhere so just wanted to let you guys know.
Finished Kiwami 2 and started on Yakuza 3 Remastered. I'm enjoying 3's story so far and i like the Ryudo family guys, but gameplay wise i can see why some fans wanted the Kiwami treatment for 3.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"3 In Particular probably needed it most, though 4 and 5 could probably get away without one due to being Closer to 0 visually and in terms of gameplay.

Watch SymphogearMan, Tamashiro is a jerk.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Oh for sure, one of the biggest hate sinks in the Yakuza franchise. Fun to bully him.
Finished three, i enjoyed it and thought Mine was a cool villain, though i do wish we could have gotten more of Richardson.
Started 4 and i already like Akiyama, he's a good egg. The initial side stories do a good job of showing what he's all about too.
Hana is too good for him though.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I'm at five and i really liked the lieutenant warden in Saejima's part, it's a nice subversion to how prison guards are usually portrayed.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"
O, 1, and 2 are, depending on who you ask, the best games in the series. I land on 0 being the best one I've played, personally. But that's probably because I'm a sucker for Majima and its the one he's most prominent in.
There's also Judgment and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.
On thing to note, though, is that the Kiwami games were made closer to 6 so they have 6's style and quality of life improvements. So going from Kiwami 2 to the remastered 3 is a marked difference.
