...okay, I know this is a stupid question, but was it ever actually said that Rosemaster was transgender, as is said on the trope page? Only I'd initially read her dissatisfaction with "that name" and the "old legends" as a case of Future Imperfect...

That doesn't fit though. The storyline so far has been that the first Nightmare Knight attack was recorded accurately, and it was the records of every other attack afterwards that were suppressed to make it look like it's only the second time.
