I was disappointed when I was told drop bears are not real.

I was fourteen when I found out. My mother had told me I could have a pet. I wanted a drop bear, so I could put him above my doorway.

I never believed drop bears were real. In fact the first time I ever really came across them was the time we had a Brazilian exchange student in year 11 and our biology teacher decided to mess with her.
Be not afraid...:(

My science teacher did that... Several times.
Then again, I seriously doubt any of the students will ever be the future leaders of anything.

My chemistry teacher was good though!
Hey, my graduating class might have some future leaders in it...

Be not afraid...I took a platoon of soldiers deep into the jungle once, and we ran into a dropbear. I was the only survivor...
You survived?
Badass.

It's funny because we have no jungles...

They're called Rainforests. [1]
Might try to go to Supanova NSW this year, if it hasn't already passed by. Animania is sometime this year as well, so I'll go with my bros. Also worth noting is that I hail from Perth and don't particularly want to go back, since I like Sydney more. Don't tell anyone I said that. Also been to Queensland (Gold Coast, Brisbane for a bit) and Melbourne (quite a few times).

Against all tyrants. Not true. Jungles and rainforests are different.
Jungles are marked by a dense undergrowth of vegetation, whereas forests are relatively easy to walk through. These can be formed when the leaf canopy of a rainforest is significantly damaged, allowing more sunlight to reach the ground and furthering the expansion of the undergrowth.
