Although, the amazing twist in Jade 1 will never be duplicated. It even outdid the entire "You are Revan" from KOTOR.

I would just like to play around in "generic Asian fantasy" for a while than in "generic Western fantasy" for a while. That said Dynasty Warriors more than fills in for the "fantasy" section.
As I mentioned in the racism thread, I'd actually be curious to see them do an RPG set in Fantasy Africa.

Clarste, like me, had no idea as to the existence (or even possible existence), of Jade Empire 2. Finding out that it still doesn't exist(because its development was canceled) doesn't really affect us...

They didn't say anything in that article that they haven't said since the game came out. They consider a valuable IP, but they haven't done anything with it. They obviously worked on it at some point, but chose not to take it further.
I personally would like it to stay dead if they're going to give it the Dragon Age treatment and morph it into some monstrosity that bears no resemblance to the original while fixing NONE of the originals problems in the process.

Because I dont think its a monstruocity, but more of the same, I found KOTOR and JE gameplay nearly exactly as Dragon Age, nothings changed for me in these years,
