I don't think Grandma is fooled by the writer. He seems like a trouble maker, and she was clearly calling his bluff when she asked if she should get the police involved. Ohana didn't even get slapped for losing his "manuscript", so hopefully the staff has her back in this one instance at least.

That ending made ME want to call an adult, and I'm just watching an anime.

Anyway, ending is interesting, its hard to tell just what we're supposed to think...it could end up being serious, or played purely for comedy.

Yeah, I can't believe it's QUITE what it looks like, but it's still really bad news for Ohana either way.

It was certainly very weird to see this show and Nichijou, of all things, share a very similar plot point for their second episodes.

Yeah hard to say, it could be that he's an erotica writer who is ashamed of his line of work so pretends to be a highbrow author, and that the name is just a coincidence.

Or it could be much worse..

I doubt he's "won" anything, but the rest sounds plausible. And while I doubt rape is incoming, I also don't think the name is a coincidence... Ew..

Edit: Word is someone on 2ch transcribed the page Ohana dropped to the ground. Suffice it to say the name was not a coincidence. The other "party" involved in this prick's little masterpiece is Nako.
