No, see, there are the Separatist leaders who knew about Sidious, most of whom Anakin massacred like younglings, with any he missed likely being killed very soon after, but then there are the senators from the hundreds of planets that joined the Seperatist cause but didn't know anything about any conspiracy. They were there because they genuinely wanted to separate and/or disliked the way the Republic was doing things. Some of those guys are still hanging around, probably because killing all of them would raise too many red flags, though this being the Empire, they may be getting around to it eventually.

Ahh, sorry, misunderstood, thought you meant Dod, his Muun friend whose name I can't remember, etc, hence my surprise at them not being dead.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."
Lott Dod did apparently die during the Clone Wars, though we don't know (yet) when exactly or how.
As seen with Singh in the previous season, the Empire also seems to try and use former Separatist officials as puppets to keep their respective planets in line (a deal Singh obviously rejected).
Though it's worth remembering that in some cases the senators and the organisations they were representing were officially neutral or Republic-aligned - note that Dod for example was still representing the Trade Federation in the Republic's Senate, with Nute Gunray officially being claimed to be a renegade.
While the Empire pretty much nationalised a lot of the (alien-led) megacorps, there's probably a fair number of people who chose to collaborate with it either to save their own necks or for monetary gain.
As we've seen in other shows, the Empire, while being explicitly humanocentric, is not above making exceptions for alien collaborators (the primary example being the Mining Guild which is a massive organisation).

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Willing to bet the person on the other end of the call in the final scene is Ventress.
I absolutely thought the same thing as soon as Fennic mentioned she knew someone who knew about those bounties.
Same here.
Honestly when Fennec mentioned Empire has people hunt people with High M-count, I kinda expected episode to end on reveal that her target was one of those people and for Hemlock to be her client.
Agreed.
Not much to say. Made the (not regretted) mistake of watching X-Men '97 first, and that literally blew me away.
Can't be helped. It's got that big ass X exploding everything at the beginning of every episode.
One Strip! One Strip!Ventress is back.
Wait, now she's gone again, but it seems Omega does have a high Midiclorian count, even if Ventress lied about it to her.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm okay with Omega being Force sensitive, but I don't want her to actually become a Jedi. This franchise seems to want to force everyone who is Force sensitive to wind up walking the path of the Jedi or Sith, and I'd just like a major character happen to be Force sensitive, and maybe they can make use the Force when doing so would be a boon, but also not wind up with a light-saber and all that. Like, there was a guy in TIE Fighter who happened to be Force sensitive, and he used that to be a great pilot, but he never so much as looked at a light-saber or anything like that.

Same here.
When Ventress said that if Omega is Force-sensitive she would need to be trained and leave Bad Batch I was just wondering “why?”.
Edited by EmperorGeode on Mar 29th 2024 at 2:39:59 AM
Well she said that Omega isn't a jedi, jedi need training in truth she seems uninterested in giving anything of the sort as it would just create an even bigger target for the empire.
I'm not sure Ventress is even qualified, she knows about Night Sister, Bounty Hunter and off brand not-quite Sith skill sets but a jedi that doesn't make
I really like her parting line casually dropping that she'd die before with no explanation. That's fun. I hope we get another novel that's a direct sequel to Dark Disciple so explain how she got out of that grave.
I think I dislike her hair, makes the night sisters look a little less distinct, but I guess Fallen Order and Ashoka already did that damage. The protruding mouth would be really difficult to portray in live action.

The writers did recently say there' some kind of plan upcoming for more elaboration on what happened with her, so maybe.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Ventress' opening move being to just yoink the enemies weapons from them feels like a call back to what Yoda did to her in the clone wars.
That was a stylised choice, like Dooku's very pointy beard. Rattataki, or whatever species the Nightsisters are, are just pale skinned humanoids with blue tattoos.

If I’m not mistaken, her hair here is the same as her appearance on the Dark Disciple cover
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyYep it is.
@Emperor Geode Ventress is unimpressed with the batch and considers them a distraction to testing Omega. That is the reason why she said that training would involve leaving the batch.

Again, two episodes dropped today, so don't just watch the newest one and miss the first one.
We see Cad Bane is still hanging around, and after seeing Ventress last week I now wonder if these two have ever met. Also, is Bane's hat smaller now?

Well Cid is yet again a treacherous little shit. Hopefully she got paid correctly this time.

"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."We already knew that though.
Also, how can we be sure Cid gave the info willingly? Not so much that she refused, but maybe they didn't bother to ask nicely?
One Strip! One Strip!Still holding my hopes for Ciddemption.
Meanwhile, Cad Bane proves himself once again to be one of the most reprehensible people around.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. You mean was...
You can't kill art.Even the Empire probably wouldn't bother with torture if they don't actually need to. And Cid does seem like the kind who would be very happy to give information up to avoid being tortured at all.
So I don't think she would hold out long enough to NEED "enhanced interrogation."
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."
In this episode we see Avi Singh, who was saved by the Bad Batch in season one. We only see him and Chuchi, but we get to see another seed of Rebel Alliance planted.
