No Bad Batch? Lame.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I think the point is that they’re going release things that aren’t already available to the public.

So, The Clone Wars is coming back? Well. Now there's no reason for Disney NOT to bring back The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes...
Really though, holy crap, didn't see this coming in the slightest.
...I'm gonna have to play catch up.
I think one of the Bad Batch appears at 1:41 in the trailer. Also I find it funny that am literal three episode a way from finish my rewatch of clone wars and this gets announced.
Airman: Ahsoka learns something in the underworld about what is beneath the Jedi Temple. She, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda go down there.
The other remaining arcs (the ones I could see them not doing if we only have 12 episodes) were the Boba Fett/Cad Bane arc, a Yoda on Kashyyyk arc, a Rex/R2 arc, an arc centred on a crashed Yuuzhan Vong scout ship, and a Padmé-centric arc set on Mon Cala.
It's kind of weird they're not just doing all the arcs. I know it would cost more but Disney wants their streaming service to be a success. 12 episodes is nice but it's not like it will take people long to watch that. If they released all the episodes they could split it into two seasons and drag things out a bit more.
So jumping off from this news. A while back I brought up the idea of Disney creating animated movies in the Star Wars universe and releasing them direct to streaming. I feel like this is a sign that idea isn't totally impossible.
The episode releases will probably be staggered. Plus 12 episodes is like half a season's worth anyway.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I feel secure in being hyped for this. Cannot wait.
/crawls back under rockOnce more the prequel era shall rule the galaxy and.....we.......shall...have memes
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I have heard the good news. This past year has been rough for star wars but btween this and resistance I now have hope
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.I'm more excited for this than episode 9. Infinitely more.
If I had to rank in production star wars proterties in order of most hyped to least hyped...
Episode IX
Resistance
Clone Wars Revival
Obi Wan solo film
Rian Johnson Trilogy
Jon Favreau TV Series
What ever monstrosity the Game of Thrones boys are working on
All in all most of the slate isn't all that exciting to me, but a lot of that is because we have no information on most of it.
But the cgi animated star wars content has been, since series 3 of clone wars, been at such constant quality I can't shake my faith in it.

No James Mangold-led Boba Fett movie on your list?
I would say the status of that one is more sure than the Kenobi film right now, as they restructure how they do the films.
I think my list is:
- Episode IX
- The Clone Wars
- Jon Favreau’s TV show
- Boba Fett film (JUST because of who is behind it)
- Kenobi film
- Resistance
- Beniof and Weiss’ films
- Johnson’s trilogy
And I’m all-in on most of that. I’m more cautious about the films we know nothing about, simply because we know nothing about them.
Honestly I'm hyped, but cautiously so. Star Wars has burned me a lot recently. Also, there's my love/hate relationship with Darth Maul
I'm more excited for this because the Clone Wars has shown off it's quality before.
The Disney movies have already shown off the best they can do, and it's not impressive unfortunately.
I actually care about the plot in Clone Wars, can't say the same for 7 or 8. And I don't expect 9 to be that much different.
The Bobba Fett film didn't make my list because the director recently said he wasn't currently associated with it in active development, so, at the moment I don't know if it'll even be made. The Kenobi film is on the list however simply because the evidence that Thrawn is in it, and I can't say no to that.
And while the Clone Wars is proven, Resistance breaking new ground is instantly more interesting to me.

PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheySome actor leaked his audition tape where he was in rudimentary make up as a blue skinned alien, talking in a stoic voice about how this jedi's spontaneity makes him predictable.
I mean, it's hard to argue that it's not Thrawn, or a Thrawn expie.
Edited by Whowho on Jul 20th 2018 at 10:30:26 AM
I would doubt the veracity of that. I see no benefit to leaking this tape if it was a real Star Wars audition. Especially since everyone knows how Disney is about secrecy.
True, but faking it doesn't seem to offer any benefits either? Unless he gets permission from Disney before hand, it kind of makes him look bad as an actor to fabricate film news.
Is the Clone Wars revival going to be on Netflix like the last made season?
Has anyone added And The Fandom Rejoiced to every single Star Wars page yet?
