I'd recommend against using a meme just to use a meme, but yeah, we can do better.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyBut it is not so much about using a meme for the sake of doing so as using a meme because it happens to provide what is otherwise a good page image anyway.
The current image shows the trope better than the meme image. The meme image is also far cruder and worse quality.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe current picture is fine. It's not crude at all.
Possible replacement image, if we so choose.
"Thorough preparation must lead to success. Neglect nothing."That one is just pretty.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickStrictly better than the current one at least.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Agreed.
is better than any other option we have so far, but not quite good enough to stop looking.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI like the one with the pot the most so far.
Fight smart, not fair. The current one isn't actually crude, but that one's better.
Perhaps crude might not have been the best wording, but the current pic does look like the kind of thing a little kid would draw.
In any case, I say replace it with the option 7 posts up from this one for now, (EDIT: I would suggest "you know a cat is truly magical when it refrains from killing mice" for the caption) but keep looking.

Haha, zerky was only ticking off the days till this got brought up for being incredibly shitty. She'd try to excuse it by saying that it was done in MS Paint, but it's still pretty shitty. XD
The original image in YKTTW was shot down for being a lolcat so she made this one.pewpew!◊
That said, MC42's suggestion is very pretty, and much less shitty than the original. lol

Google to the rescue!
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I like both of those as well.
They show cats in wizard robes, but they don`t show use of magic.
EDIT: Like I said earlier, though, I would suggest replacing the current one with the one MC 42 suggested for now, but keep looking.

So, would I have the go-ahead to switch to the MC 42 one for now?
What's the source of that one with the pot? It's got a very pleasant 'eastern European childrens book' vibe to it.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.Unless we have reason to expect there to be copyright issues, I do not think it is all that necessary to know the source.
Source for that picture, for those that asked.
"Thorough preparation must lead to success. Neglect nothing."Are what we've got enough for a crowner?
I think so. Let's get one up.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe cat wizard illustration is in the lead by 11 points ahead of the next option, with 9 yays and only 1 nay. Should I put it up? If so, what should I pothole it to?
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The current image is of some apparent sketch of some wizard cat, and is very crudely drawn. Given the length of the examples list, I am inclined to think we can do better.
For one thing, there are a variety of Internet memes where cats use magic, such as longcat, tacgnol, and the conflict between the two.
