I think grades only affect your attack points...sort of like attack points Yu Gi Oh!

It doesn't matter how badass and powerful you look, that tiny ball of fur is going to beat you as long as it has more attack points.

The armor and weapons are just cosmetic.

It's an RPG. They line up on two sides, take turns and attack. Only the stats matter. Well, Yoshi is playing an action RPG.

Yeah, according to the books, all of them should be able to be more subtle in their attacks and thus play an "active" RPG where a weaker opponent can beat a stronger one by dodging all their attacks.

However, with the exception of Yoshi they don't do this, but instead just wale on each other until there is a winner. This is justified by the explanation that Yoshi has to use his summon so often (and since he experiences pain when he gets hit) and so has become agile enough at using it that he's essentially a Fragile Speedster. Low hit points, low damage, but hard to hit.

Found a version of the new OVA. I didn't laugh as much as I did during the series...maybe the jokes are starting to get predictable for me. On the other hand, the multiple endings of the maid popularity contest were amusing especially the Trap!Yoshii end.

I was wondering the whole episode how they'd mange to end up subverting their own win, like they always do. Honestly though, the main characters of this are kind of badass, in an underhanded cheapshot way. Combat Pragmatism, right?

I was hoping that they would do larger scale battles but this is good enough I suppose.

I was like wut when it was shown that the Tokonatsu pair were in 3-A though.

...Hideyoshi sounds way too masculine...for Hideyoshi.

The other voices sound fine though...I wish we could hear Shouko's voice.

It'd be cool of Tetsujin/Ironman were voiced by David Hayter.

Because they lost a class battle and there's no one lower than them to trade with. Given that otherwise they'd have nothing to lose and declare wars as often as they possibly could with no thought, the school decided to downgrade their equipment.

The losing team has the limitation of not being able to declare another one for three months.

Also i'm not really sure how those...art board thingys they got after the cardboard boxes are worse.

I would assume it's because there is nothing to put the boards on, and using those boards for several hours a day simply can't be pleasant for one's neck.
