Pokemon In The City-Role Play

"Well...to be honest, we need all the help we can get," Hamlet replied, putting the last CD on top of his stack.

"Alright then, we'll be glad to help." Tatsu carefully started placing the discs back into the case. "I'd prefer to stay on watch rather than attack them directly, you know, to reduce unnecessary casualties. If you need my help, just send a flare up or something. I'm usually in the skies or at least somewhere high up."

"We can see 3 times as far as any other mon!"

"You mean 3 times as much. Seriously, I'm embarrassed to even be related to you."

Hamlet smiled and held out the other disks. "Thank you. I live over at the Fight Gang's place. Do you know where that is?"

Tatsu took the remaining discs. "I can't ever find anyplace in the city. It's funny how I've lived here so long, but never really got to know the place. In any case, it's fine. It lets me have an impartial view over the city." Tatsu closes the case and places it in his bag. "We'll should be going now. We have to do some research because it's better to know what our opponents have rather than be caught off guard."

"Awww....I hate this sneaking around thing. It's better to look for them and just blast them all to oblivion!"

"You do that, and we'll probably die."

"Will not! I'm plenty strong! You can go die yourself!"

"You're plenty dumb. We'd be massively outnumbered."

"Now, now. This is no time to fight." Tatsu started off towards the further parts of the city.

Hamlet raised an eyebrow as Tatsu took off. Odd fellow...be useful to have a Dragon-type of our own, though. If he's not on their side already.

With that he turned and began running again, eating the distance as he ran back to the Fight Gang's hotel.

Kori shrugged. "True. But still, if we try to overwhelm them through sheer numbers, we're gonna die. We might even end up fighting ourselves, especially in the gangs we call in happen to have rivalries among themselves."

She looked back out the window. "I think I should go talk to Gallade."

"We need what help we can get, either way." Jet replied, looking at Kori. "And we all worked together to take down the Claw Gang. I don't think we'll fight one another. One gang against three isn't really good odds for them."

Different Gangs have different amount of power, Striker noted, recalling what he had learned of the Gangs through his various jobs for them.

"We certainly do need all the help we can get against a Gang of their strength," he said aloud.

Soon after the Psi Syndicate managed to get into an alley clearly visible to Eltenios, a manhole cover shot up and hit the Sigilyph in the face. Sluggard, in all his glory, had just performed a dynamic entry, dragging the strange pokemon up twenty feet.

The meditite who had read the notice began backing up. "Huh!? But- but what are you doing here?!"

Sluggard, meanwhile tossed the Sigilyph aside in order to drop down onto the Meditite's chest and look it dead in the eyes from very close. He headbutted the tiny monkey before throwing it at the third Peeping Mon.

"The notice said 'imminent.'"

Eltenios races across an alameda, then takes off one of the less recurred streets until he reaches one of the city's older neighborhoods-

"Hmmm... This requires I look a bit further."

Starts sniffing around the old buildings and the graffitti'd brick walls, at some point considering asking a random Purrloin for directions, but decides to let go and return to the true and tried strategy of looking from the roofs afterwards.

Kori nodded. "Exactly. So I'm going to talk to Gallade, and see if he can help us. Or, more, accurately, I'm going to talk to Leo, Tuft, or Tuft's dad and get them to talk to Gallade for me, because frankly I'm kind of scared of him."

Jet gave a little chuff of laughter. "Come on, how bad could he be? From what Leo said he sounds kinda harmless."

Kori snorted, still staring out the window. "He was, back when he was a joke that relied on Tuft to do everything for him and couldn't move ten feet without losing his hat. But then he became competent. And he's still deadly serious about his group and mission."

She put a slight emphasis on the word 'deadly' and paused before continuing.

"But most of the agents are good guys. They'll get him to help."

"You think they could help us with the Thorn Gang, too?" Jet asked.

"Well, they're a pretty varied bunch. I'm sure they have some Fire types. And they're a decently sized group."

Kori turned away from the window and started towards the stairs.

"I'll be on the roof. If you want to come, you can."

Jet stood and went to follow Kori. "I'll come."

Kori nods to him. "All right."

She Quick Attacks through the halls and up stairs, finding her way to the roof.

Reaching it, she starts rummaging around in some litter in the corners, picking up an empty soda can. Cutting it in half with one claw, she holds up the shiny inside to reflect the sun and starts flashing it around.

Striker followed after, his speed not quite making up for his lack of Quick Attack. He cocked his head once he saw what Kori was doing.

"What's up with that?" he asked, gesturing at the can.

"I think it's to signal them," Jet said, following the Mienshao up.

"Yep," Kori says, narrowing her eyes and looking across the sky. After a few minutes, a dark spec appears in the horizon, and a few moments later a buzzing cab be heard. As it comes closer, the spec becomes a Yanmega, which comes to a hover besides the Pokemon on the roof.

"M'name's Bo. Whaddya need?"

Kori nudges Jet.

"He's with Gallade. Why don't you explain?"

Somewhere in the streets of the city

"The city is so big! Mama always told me she'd always get lost and you have to really keep track of where you are."

Plug finds an alleyway. The Joltik looks down the dark and ominous path and then glances at the bustling streets he has been traveling on.

"Nothing ventured, nothing gained!"

The tiny Pokémon had not gone 5 feet before discovering a rouge pack of Houndoom that didn't appear too friendly.

"..."

Both parties stared at each other for what may have been minutes, but seemed like hours. The pack eyeing the Rare Candies on the makeshift wagon, and Plug not knowing any better.

"Hey guys!"

Jet nodded as Kori whispered to him. "We were looking for some assistance from your group. There's a gang holed up in the Thorn Gang's old building and we need help to get rid of them."

Striker leaned against a structure, hoping this "Gallade" character could assist them against the Thorns. We'll sure need it.

"Any particulars?" Bo asked. "Numbers, types, anythin'?"

Deeper parts of the city

Tatsu bursts through the wall of the hideout of one of the less peaceful gangs. "Hello? Is the leader of this gang here?"

Random Pawniard: Hey! You can't just bust in here! Get 'im guys!

Countless Pokémon (In actuality, it's something close to 40-50 mons) launch attacks of all different types in the spectrum at Tatsu. "Ah! That's not very civil of you."

"Bah! Don't waste your breath."

"For once, I agree with him. These guys seem to only want a fight."

Tatsu sighs. "Fine, but don't go full power."

"Okay, okay! Whatever! Let's do this!""Understood."

The kind-tempered Brutal Pokémon held both heads out in front of itself. With the more aggressive head firing a Flamethrower, the calmer one loosing an Ice Beam and the center blasting a Hyper Beam, the trio of heads quickly made a destructive sweep of the room, crippling all present unable to battle. As the guardian surveyed the damage, he only made one comment. "I thought I said to hold back..."
