Pokemon In The City-Role Play

Eltenios winces as Jet gets slammed against the wall.

"Oww.... I hope Kori knows to appreciate how much of a Nice Guy is Jet being to her, heh heh...".

In his mind he thanked not being the one to be fighting those dirt-dishing Pokémon.

"Eh, I'm surprised we haven't caught 'em sucking face. I thought that was a human expression of affection. Most Pokemon just settle for hugs."

The Excadrille raised a hand and a small green Protect appeared in front of his hand. Blue lightning radiated from the impact point between the Ice Punch and the Protect, sending ice all over the room as Jet got up and met the other Excadrille's Hammer Arm with an Ice Punch. Both struggled against one another until their attacks finally petered out, leaving the two to jump backwards, away from each other.

Kori dodged the ice going everywhere and tried pounded the Excadrill's Protect again and again with Ice Punch, trying to break it.

Excadrille grinned at Kori hammering his Protect, ramming a Hammer Arm into her stomach with his free hand.

Kori was thrown back against the wall, grunting. Struggling to her feet, panting, she glanced around for Jet.

Jet and his Excadrille's punches collided again, blowing them back once more. Jet flew over to where Kori was, managing to land on his feet. He looked at her, breathing heavily. "This isn't working, either..."

"You're telling me," she muttered. "Maybe we should try ranged attacks again, to attack rather than just blow through those walls. Won't give them a chance to hit us."

As she spoke, Kori started building her Ice Punch again, making it larger than usual as she wouldn't be running and swinging the weight around.

"Hm..." Jet muttered. "Hey, you're faster than I am. Why don't you draw their fire and I'll try and hit them from here?"

Kori nodded. "Sure. Hope the others don't get hit, though."

Regardless, she started running towards the Excadrills, dodging their attacks.

As she did, Jet fired off a pair of Razor Winds at one of the Excadrilles, then a Water Gun at the other one. Due to both being focused on Kori they were hit, propelling them backwards across the room. Jet pumped a fist.

Kori grinned, then punched one of the Excadrills as she ran by, coming to a stop beside Jet. "Again?" she asked.

Jet nodded. "Yeah. If it works, let's keep going."

She nodded and waited for the Excadrills to get to their feet before taking off again.

Both Excadrilles glared at her, conjuring a double Stone Edge and shooting it out in a wide cone across the room in a shotgun-like pattern. Jet, about to fire off another Water Gun, spat the water out in a short fountain, screaming in pain as sharp stones slashed him, embedding themselves in the wall around him.

Kori dropped to the ground, hands over her head to avoid the stones. As they stopped shooting, she leaped to her feet and ran over to Jet. "Jet! Are you okay? Can you get up?"

Jet screamed through his teeth in pain-one of the stones had slashed open a calf, his leg collapsing when he tried to put weight on it. "I...I can still fight, I think... J...don't worry about me."

Kori placed a hand on his stomach, holding him down. "Oh no you don't."

She turned to Eltenios and Sluggard. "Sluggard! Can you come get Jet?"

Eltenios saw the stones and managed to leap and avoid some of them as they flew and covered the room; he was hit by one or two in the side, but he managed to endured it.

"Damn those guys are bringing too much trouble..."

Then he noticed Kori calling for Sluggard and him.

"Hey Sluggard, prefer me to go in there? I can get Jet out of danger quickly. And I'm sure you'd rather want give those beasts a good beating."

"I got this." Sluggard said, Trick Rooming in and out while trying to grab Jet.

"N...no..." Jet groaned as Sluggard picked him up. "I can...gotta..ugh..." He passed out from blood loss.

Eltenios held himself back, but then he smelled the blood and felt compelled to hop in.

"Awww screw dirtdishers!..." He quickly dashed forward and stood before Jet, presenting his flank to the Excadrill to hide Jet from them.

"Sluggard!" he barked, "Place Jet on top of me, an' go help Kori blast those things!"

"OH HELL YES!" Sluggard shouted, tossing Jet onto Eltenios' back and removing his shades. Trick Room went up, and he went in to attempt to use the lightning speed it granted to tackle an Excadrill.

A Protect appeared in front of Excadrille for Sluggard to ram into, the other brother hitting Sluggard in the gut with a Hammer Arm from the side.

Sluggard was launched by the Hammer Arm into the ceiling. His reaction upon coming down however, was not what would be expected. The Shellder on his tail began glowing blue as it bit down harder. "Thank you sir. May I have another?"
