Pokemon In The City-Role Play

"Flame gang territory? Uh yeah, I think you might be able to take them on." Flint said. "(Uh oh, this isn't good.) But uh, I have to go."

-Sparks thinned his eyes-

"Do you have any 'friends' in the Flame Gang territory Flint?"

-He asked this question inconspicuosly, so that Flint wouldn't be alert of what he really meant-

Archie's smug grin turned into a sour frown. He supposed calling attention to himself was needed. He cleared his throat. "Excuse me, gentlemen."

"Jet should be able to handle them," Kori said, shrugging. She felt someone watching them and caught the eye of the Sableye, then looked away in time to catch Flint's hurried farewell.

Her eyes narrowed, but to tell the truth she was glad to see the back of him. "So long," she said.

She turned to Jet and Sparks. "Either of you want to answer the Sableye, or should we ignore him? We should be all right if he attacks with the three of us."

-At the mention of a Sableye, Sparks twitched slightly, that was something he didn't want to remember.-

"I'd prefer not to confront him, but I'll go with watever you decide."

"Friends? Eh, I know a few Pokemon there." Flint said. "(I better warn them.)" Flint headed back to his territory.

"Well I did say skirt," Jet continued. "We won't fight unless we have to. And I'll protect you if need be," he finished, turning his eyes to Kori as he did so.

"Scared, Sparks?" Kori asked, flashing him a grin. Turning to Flint, she adopted a stonier look. "Why don't you go hang out with them, then?" she asked, then decided to ignore him for the time being.

Giving Jet a grateful smile, she said, "Skirting sounds like a good idea. And thanks Jet, I'm not so great around Fire types." She suppressed a shiver, then turned her eyes back to the Sableye.

"So are we ignoring him or what?"

Archie broke into a toothy grin. "Yes, you there!"

-Sparks looked slightly angry when Jet said 'protect'-

"I can look after myself you know. I'm not scared, just..remembering something I'd prefer not to recount."

Jet shook his head. "Okay, enough. We'll get underway as soon as we deal with this Sableye." He turned to Archie and his eyebrows beetled. "What do you want?"

The Sableye waved the group over to him. "Could you come over here?"

Jet clenched his fist, a blue glow starting to build up around it. With his free hand he motioned the others to stay put as he went over to Archie.

Kori glanced at the others, then shrugged. "Sure, why not?" she asked, then Quick Attacked over to the Sableye and stood over him with her paws on her hips. "What do you want?" she demanded.

"Names Archibald, call me Archie." He looked at Kori. "I must say, you look very nice today, mam. Mow, what can I do ya' for?"

"Nothing," she said shortly. "You called us over, what do you want?" She glared at the Sableye. She didn't trust Ghost types, and this one almost reminded her of the Psyduck that had scared Sparks earlier.

Fingers giggled to himself, he'd taken a slightly different route, heading across the rooftops. And he'd been rewarded, and unguarded nest of some sort filled with shiny stuff. He couldn't take all of it but he took a bit and some berries hidden under the side. Life was good. Now where had those he was talking to gone? Fingers wasn't much for group activities but maybe it would be interesting just for one day.

Ah! There they were. It was probably safe enough to go to street level. Fingers slid down a drainpipe to where they were talking with a Sableye. The Tepig seemed to have disappeared. Oh well.

"Sorry, lost you for a sec there," Fingers said cheerfully, "What's going on?"

-Sparks timidly walked over to the Sableye, he stayed closer to Jet than normal in the presence of the Sableye-

Archie looked at her quizically. "I did? Well, from my perspective you came of your own volition. Well, nevertheless." He reached under the stall and pulled out a burlap sack. He emptied the bag's contents onto the counter. The contents in question were three oran berries, a baseball, a rusty penknife, a plastic bag full of sand, and five leaky batteries. "See anything you like?"

Kori swept her eyes over the Sableye, then dropped to his inventory. "No," she said. Turning to Jet and Sparks. "Can we go now? I'd rather not have to face the Flame Gang in the dark." She paused and noticed that the Aipom had joined them. "Oh, hi, Fingers. Glad you made it."

Archie's (metaphorical) ears perked up at the mention of the Flame Gang. "What's this about the Flame Gang?"

When Flint reached the territory of the Flame Gang, he pulled out some food that he stored near by and began gorging on them. "Munch munch munch. MMMM! YUM!" As he was gorging, a Growlithe approached him.

"Ahem. Master Flint?" He inquired.

"Mmf? Yes?" The Tepig stopped gorging on his food and turned to the Growlithe.

"We were looking for you. Where did you go?" The Growlithe asked.

"I was out taking a walk. Can't a Pokemon relax once in a while?" Flint said.

"I suppose, but is it wise for a Pokemon like you to be out in the open? You could be targeted."

"Pfft, I could take them on." Flint argued.

"But you have a lack of combat experience. Even the weakest Pokemon could easily defeat you." The Growlithe reasoned.

The last statement made by the Growlithe caused Flint to remember something he had meant to tell the gang. "Wait! That reminds me, some Pokemon are headed this way. Keep an eye on them, and if they cause trouble, take them out. Got it?" Flint commanded.

"Yes. I will tell the others." The Growlithe left and Flint left to hide and keep eating his food.

"Nothing that concerns you," Kori snapped at the Sableye. Turning back to Jet, she asked, "Can we please get going? You're the only one that knows the way to your home, and Sparks and I don't want to hang around with this guy."

Archie persisted. "You sure. Because if you're dealing with gangs. I might be able to provide you with some... valueable information. For a small fee, of course."

-Sparks nodded in agreement with Kori and took a glance at the Sableye, Archie, he felt uneasy.

"Yeah lets get going."
