Suiryu was training for the first time in a very long time. Hit said raw speed couldn't beat him, so he'll have to focus on outlasting him. By standing beneath a waterfall while doing 400 pushups and 200 situps every day for one week he'll be able to beat him in no time!

Currently, he was halfway through this day's training.

Outside (Survivor Aichi)

I'll be gone for an hour, but once I'm back I'll be up to posting more.

-Aichi has been out doing his usual patrolling around the area (Even if he's aware zombies aren't likely to appear, it's still a habit... Not to mention that some actually did appear earlier, which only proves that the possibility is still... well, possible).-

-For now he's walking around outside, trying to see if he can spot anything suspicious...-

-...?-

-There's... a guy standing under a waterfall? That's the type of thing you see guys in anime do for training, right?-

-...Oh man, that sounds like something Kamui would have Chrono do, honestly...-

-Aichi remembers the 'training' Kamui had him do. It was a long time ago so the memory isn't quite clear, but he remembers that Kamui has always had a rather funny idea of training.-

-...Should he talk to the guy?-

-Aichi simply watches for now, unsure of whether he should interrupt.-

-Suiryu might notice a somewhat short young man with unkempt blue hair and very noticeably messed up clothes (Not pictured: a makeshift sheathe on his back.◊-

-He's... holding a crowbar?-

Leos VS. -EX- (Aichi)

-Leos did it... He finally beat -EX-...-

-All of this madness is over...-

<...You did it... Leos...>

-...? Aichi feels... faint...-

-Between the strain of forcing himself to remain in this position, and Leos passing out while Aichi was synced with him...-

Sthesia's Room (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Aichi's eyes stop glowing, and...-

"...It's over... Leos..."

-He manages to smile a small smile.-

"...Won..."

-Suddenly he starts falling forward, apparently having used up a bunch of energy himself.-

"Aichi!"

-Misaki wastes no time catching him, and makes sure he doesn't hit the ground.-

-Aichi not quite out of it yet, and mumbles out a small:-

"...Mi...sa...ki...?"

-His eyes finally close, and he completely slumps into Misaki's hold on him.-

"...It must have taken a lot out of you..."

-This isn't the first time Aichi has collapsed. He collapsed a few times while using his PSY Qualia... which this is an extension of.-

-Hopefully he'll be all right... If it was like his normal bouts of PSY Qualia then Misaki would be concerned, but not overly worried.-

-But since Aichi's powers are different now, and he was synced with Leos—-

-...Wait...-

"Sthesia, Leos might have...!"

-If Aichi passed out then Leos might have too!-

(While Themis◊ and Pigna are trying to get the cockpit open, Keith◊ is surveying the damage on the black Gundam.)

Hey, Alloy! You better not be dead, you hear?!

Got it!

(The cockpit opens, and inside, Leos is slumped in the cockpit, unconscious.)

Aw, jeez.

Is Leos okay, guys?

Sthesia! Yeah, Leos is just out cold, we're gonna try and get him out.

(sighs) As long as he's okay...

Suiryu saw the blue-haired crowbar wielding lad and stopped doing push-ups for a moment. Why is that guy watching him like that?

-anna sees that aichi is back with them and tries to pull herself up-

Outside (Survivor Aichi)

-Aichi can't help but be startled by the guy calling out to him like that.-

"S-Sorry! I was just patrolling, and I saw you..."

-This guy actually seems rather timid, Suiryu. Soft-spoken, and he's trying to be polite.-

"...I, um... haven't seen you around here before, and I wanted to make sure everything was all right."

-It seems like he's trying to calm himself a bit after that initial startle.-

Sthesia's Room (Aichi) and (Misaki)

-Misaki keeps hold of Aichi, who is definitely unconscious now.-

-She nearly sighs. Finally this whole mess is...-

"...It's finally over. The attacks are over."

-She's relieved, although it's clear that it's extremely bittersweet.-

-After all... Cross died during that battle.-

-Misaki actually took it very hard, and maybe Sthesia can tell that Misaki's not as stoic as usual.-

"...It seems like Leos and Aichi are going to need rest..."

-It took a lot out of both, evidently...-

-...-

"...Are you all right, Sthesia?"

-Considering she knew -EX-...-

(And meanwhile, Themis and Pigna set Leos down next to his Gundam's leg.)

Hey, Them. You gonna be okay? That -EX- guy pushed you around a bit.

I'll be fine, Pigna.

(She sighs) Alright. You really worried me, you dumb mechanic. (She side-jabs the poor guy with her elbow.)

(Themis laughs nervously at that.)

Hey, Anna. Take it easy, okay?

(To Misaki) Hmm? I'll, uh, I'll be fine, Misaki.

...Do you need anything, Misaki?

What a wussy, he barely raised his voice and the guy's trembling like he's seen a ghost.

Alright, say, why do you have a crowbar? I don't see anything to pry open around here. Just trees, rocks and birds

-Aichi's definitely calmed down now. He just was momentarily startled was all. Poor guy still doesn't handle sudden things well...-

-And Aichi could delve into the whole story about the crowbar, but he doesn't really want to get too emotional... The crowbar is a very serious subject for him, as silly as it sounds.-

-It reminds him of what's important... Finding his friends and family (Or, well... friends now since his mom and sister are all right).-

"...It's for self-defense."

-...Suiryu, it's hard to explain, but behind Aichi's uneasy expression lies... sadness? Those eyes indicate he's seen things.-

"I know it's not optimal, but this crowbar is all I have..."

-...Well, barring his ability to transform thanks to G, but he can only do that with her.-

-When he's alone all he has is the crowbar.-

-And...-

"...There can be some dangerous things out here. Beings from different universes..."

-So many universes can provide so many types of people or other creatures.-

-Many are nice and wouldn't cause any harm. Others...-

"...I'll be fine, Sthesia..."

-Misaki then looks over at Anna, who has to be concerned about Aichi's condition.-

"...This has happened before. He passed out multiple times back home after cardfights. I thought it might have been that he was wearing himself out back then, but it was probably his PSY Qualia."

-So...-

"...He'll be all right. He just needs rest."

Maybe he shouldn't have been so rude to the kid.

He then gave a short bow to accentuate his apology.

Anyway, a crowbar doesn't look like it would be much help. Don't get me wrong, but I'm pretty sure not even a Wolf level Monster would be threatened by it.

-Aichi stays silent about his embarrassment of being referred to as a 'kid' (He's 23, but he definitely looks like he's around 16-17), and instead expresses a little bit of surprise about the apology.-

"N-No, you don't need to apologize. I understand."

-He wasn't entirely sure if he should intrude anyway...-

-...Hmm?-

"'Wolf level Monster'?"

-He's never heard of a ranking system for monsters before...-

-...Well, not counting how the grades work in Cardfight!! Vanguard...-

-Naturally Aichi is not aware of what exactly Suiryu means with it, as he has no frame of reference.-

You know, the Monster Ranks, it goes from Wolf to Tiger, to Demon, to Dragon, and finally God. That's 3rd-grade stuff kid.

Outside (Survivor Aichi)

-Aichi naturally has no clue about any of the stuff from Suiryu's universe, but he thinks he gets the gist.-

-It reminds him of Vanguard, actually. Grade 0 to Grade 1 to Grade 2 to Grade 3 to Grade 4.-

"That makes sense."

-Although...-

"Um... Has anyone explained this place to you yet?"

-Since it seems like he expected Aichi to know that...-

What's there to explain? This is a forest, there are strong people in it, and a house in the middle nowhere. It seems to be pretty straightforward

-Considering his somewhat awkward expression hasn't changed a single bit... yeah, he's serious.-

"It's the truth. My world doesn't have monsters like yours does... or rather the same type of monsters..."

-His world is very different.-

"For example, in my world... Problems were once solved through Vanguard— a card game that was really popular back home..."

-Sometimes he has to remind himself that people here don't know about Vanguard... It's strange, considering his whole life basically revolved around it...-

-...But now...-

"I doubt Vanguard exists in your world."

-...Which is a shame. It'd be nice if he found someone other than another version of himself that plays the game...-

Really? A children's card game? That sounds boooooooring. Also pretty lame.

-...Well, this is the first time he's heard someone actually insult Vanguard.-

-He's not quite so offended as he is baffled.-

-The game means so much to him, and it does hurt a bit that Suiryu so harshly dismissed it, but still...p

"It's a really fun game, but I understand that it might not seem like much to most of the people here."

-It's not everyone's cup of tea. It may have had hundreds of millions of players in Aichi's world, but even then there were people that didn't like it and Aichi respects that.-

"You would be surprised by how passionate cardfights can get."

-Considering he had to cardfight against evil forces many times...-

Meanwhile I'm just astonished that it took so long for someone to call out Vanguard as a children's card game and to have this type of reaction. I expected that back when I joined the thread. XD

"Intense"? Who? I fail to see why deciding between using a piece of cardboard and a slightly different piece of cardboard is in anyway exciting"

Well now I'm disappointed. The joke setup was so easy to see.

Outside (Survivor Aichi)

-Well...-

"...I doubt you would believe me, but evil forces threatened my world and my friends and I had to cardfight to stop them."

-When something like that is going on...-

"When the lives of everyone are at risk, naturally it gets tense."

-He doesn't seem upset or anything saying this. He's just... still being relatively awkward.-

-But still, he's trying to be friendly and polite despite the awkwardness of trying to explain how important Vanguard is in his universe. It's just that his social skills aren't their best thanks to having been alone for a long while before appearing here.-

IKR? It was right there the whole time. Heck, the first time Aichi (The one labelled as "Aichi" [I have many Aichis because I'm crazy like that :P] in my posts) ever mentioned the card game he actually tried to teach his now best friend (and for all intents and purposes big brother) how to play! I'm amazed anyone had the patience for it... ^^;

-Yeah, it probably does sound really weird... Aichi wouldn't have expected it way back when he was first introduced to Vanguard, but now it's to be expected...-

-He's a bit amazed that Suiryu can do headstands so easily. Even after having gotten stronger, Aichi is still something of a shrimp, and can't help but be very impressed.-

"...Oh! I didn't introduce myself... How rude of me..."

-He can't help but feel guilty about that.-

"I'm Aichi Sendou. What's your name?"

"Suiryu the Super Fight Champion"

He offered his hand for a handshake while still doing headstands, this time with only one hand.
