Graphic violence is ok as long as it's not humans and there's no blood?

Do Androids Dream?

In all seriousness, it's facepalm-worthy that some people make these pathetic "anti-violence" mistakes.

If it's on PC, I'll look into getting it. Battlefront 3, I mean. I ve played the first two and loved them.

I still enjoy Rhen Var Harbor. That's the ice one with the cave and the AT-AT/AT-TE.

And I enjoy Bespin's maps. Both of them. O.o

I was kinda sad that Bespin Platforms and Rhen Var Harbor weren't in the second game. One of the most mind-blowing experiences I've ever had in a video game was the first time I was hanging out in one of the buildings along the narrow pass that led into the town in Harbor. I was playing as a Rebel, and when I saw that AT-AT just pass on by, explosions everywhere, I just got this massive feeling of "Holy SHIT."

But yeah, SW;BF was pretty much my first FPS and still maintains itself among my top games of all time.

But of course. Getting to play Star Wars battles as one of the soldiers? Who wouldn't like that? Even if you don't like the execution, the concept was downright enjoyable to contemplate.

[up][up][up][up] I think it's more that she know we're gonna watch the stuff, and it's better if it's robots.

Let's get off the subject anyway before I flip out on someone. (It's my mother your talking about, remember.)

[up] That was the main selling point, but even beyond the "Star Wars" part, it was a good game, If a bit easier then most FPS games. Gotta love that lock-on feature, but it killed me when I play call of duty and such.

[up][up] Agreed. It'd be great if they revisited the series, since a lot of fans wanted to see a third game.

[up] Very true. Sorry if we accidentally offended you.

Hey guys, remember this? It played most of the times I opened up the game. Still gives me chills.

If they can revisit the series and continue bringing it up to date, I could foresee future generations being able to fight over entire planets at some point.

That's from The Empire Strikes Back, and yes, I enjoy that section of score from the film.

I would love non-Clone Wars EU elements in a possible Battlefront 3. The only way I can see that happening is DLC, maybe.

[up]Don't underestimate the power of modding. It wouldn't be beyond reason for people to add in those things.

Anyone remember the Islands map on Kashyyykk? Very nice look at fighting on steep hills with air support.

[up] I remember the Beach. Not islands though.

I had PS 2, so could it have been a PC exclusive or something.

I remember the Islands, they weren't exclusive. In campaign, it was the last Droid map and Count Dooku was there.

I liked them a lot more than Beach.

Really? Where'd you get stuck, Yavin? Both maps for that planet are harsh as hell battlefields. Absolutely brutal, and for reasons that are arguably the same.

Yavin was one of my favorite maps!

If we're talking about Battlefront 1 battlefields, that is. I preferred the arena over the temple, though.

Is anybody just hoping that some modder will eventually get the great idea of making a Battlefront mod for for BF 3?

Which Yavin map is it where there's a flat city-like area surrounded by hills which makes being down there like asking to be shot... and then most of the battle happens down there. That's Temple, right?

I will say this, at least in Battlefront 2 (and probably in Battlefront 1, I can't remember), several of the maps were stacked against one side (and that's terrible, or at least unfortunate) - mostly due to spawn positions, where one side would get the better areas from the beginning, weapon placement (where one side would get better vehicles for the sake of being accurate to the movies), or hazards.

Endor, for example, was totally stacked against the Empire, to the point where I never played it if I could help it. I think Felucia was stacked against the Clones, as well.

[up][up] You're thinking of Arena. It's either a sniper duel, go down into the center and get murdered by snipers, or go the outside and get killed by vehicles.

If they released battlefront 2 with achievements, some new maps and some balance tweaks I'd probably drop 40 bucks for it. especially if we get up-to four player split-screen and online play.
