Lots of editors don't come to the forums. They won't know about pages that are only mentioned in the TRS. And TRS isn't really a good place to gather examples — it's more for actual repairs to the definition, scope of name.

Might there be a way to make the Tropes Needing Examples and other, similar pages better visible, then? What about putting a link to a page that lists it and other similar pages like Pages Needing Wicks in the Tools section?

Maybe put it under one of the little dealies on the side? That and the list of shows needing a summary.

It seems like people are already using this section if there are tropes that either don't have examples or need more of them. On that basis, is the Tropes Needing Examples page really serving any useful purpose? In the archive discussion, there is somebody pointedly wondering if the page is really serving the purpose it was supposed to, and while at one time it seems like it might have had a fair amount of activity, it seems to have dwindled recently. Plus, it's redundant if people are using this section for that purpose.
