A solid villain helps.

So I bought the vanilla game for $3 and started my playthrough with Zero the weird cyber assassin dude. Anything I should keep in mind?

Either go the full nine yards and be a sniper or go solely melee. Don't half ass it and try to split between the two playstyles, you'll have a hard time.

Ultimate Vault Hunter mode is hell.

My Gaige can get kills but she has to use a slag pistol and a fire assault rifle. I want to respec but don't know what to put points into.

Any ideas, fellow hunters?

I ended up needing to play with a friend of mine for UVH on my Gaige. I did find that deathtrap was pretty effective though.

It would help if we knew what you were using right now. Anarchy is pretty fragile, so I'm guessing it's that? Blood-Soaked Shields don't help much when you can't kill enemies fast enough to proc it (though if you can get a good Turtle shield, you might be able to make it work). All elemental damage is increased in UVHM, so maybe try Little Big Trouble. No matter what, remember you'll have to swap weapons a lot. You might even need to carry a shock weapon to chew through shields.

I had the BFF tree almost maxed, with Strength of Five Gorillas, Meyelin, More Pep and the Stare from LBT with Anarchy, Preshrunk Cyberpunk, Annoyed Android, Rational Anarchist, and Discord from the Anarchist trees.

I have level 60 weapons and am using the level 50 Slayer of Terra mod. I don't remember the shield and relic, though. I'll check that later.

So The Chinese classes for Borderlands MMO follow the original set, The Classes are Gender locked and have set back stories, so similar to Vindictus

Welp I know what designs are getting reused for Borderlands 3 XD

The designs bugged me. They're ALMOST the same art style, but the skin is too... prestine. I liked that all of the characters in the game have comic book lines and dirt and stuff everywhere. The MMO characters had pretty clear skin.

Their designed for Chinese market, with a customized appearance based...

The clean look is to give the characters a blank slate appearance for you to work off of

but since you don't have to worry about different looks you can make one default look and dirty it up all you want.

Man Riven was cute as hell. Please reuse that design please Gearbox.

Even though Steele was an anticlimax boss, and Angel was doomed from the get go... and we're effectively back down to 2... umm

Maybe the other two should just ignore Pandora

Borderlands 3 announced. Unfortunately we can't make new threads at the moment, but it's officially coming. There will apparently be hints in the Battleborn DLC.

.....so Battleborn and Borderlands share a universe?

ETA: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWEGETANEWBORDERLANDS!

.....which probably won't be on old gen consoles.

I'm playing the Handsome Jack and I freaking love Krieg and Gaige.

Especially Gaige.

But Krieg is just... I don't know how you write this stuff. He just lets me bring out my inner psychopath in the most brilliant way. I actually start shaking and mashing the trigger button when I'm on a killstreak with him. I've caught myself laughing hysterically whenever Krieg goes on a rampage.

"NEVER STOP THE KILLING. NEVER!"

"HOW CAN I SNAP YOUR NECK IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE!?"

And I adore the Narm he and Gaige have when they're kicking ass.

"YOU CAN'T STOP WHAT I'VE BECOME."
