Treasure Town

Rosary: -is sleeping in a cuddlepile with Basket, Lua, and Tangent after defeating Tangent in a practice battle-

Pentigan's Mystery Dungeon

-in a room at the bottom of the dungeon-

Raspberry: OK, chaps! This room is in fact deep enough into the Mystery Dungeon that the space distortions cross universes! From here on, we are climbing back up a cave on the other side!

"The Capital", PMD-B

Cephas: It's just diplomacy, right?

Rufus: Oh! Oh! How about diplomacy... by other means?

Cephas: ...no.

PEFE-B, underside

Captured!Ivysaur: Come on... the bone can't be too far from here...

-glances around, before seeing a pneumatic tube with a hole punched in the top-

Oh! Is that... I see it! The bone's in there!

-the Ivysaur climbs up a stack of debris to reach the tube; upon reaching the top, they reach for the bone with a vine, when suddenly...-

Announcer: The Pneumatic Diversity Vents are not part of the testing track. This message is for informational purposes only; rest assured, as always, this Pneumatic Diversity Vent is fully aware of your rights as a physical object, and while it identifies you as [an Ivysaur], it does not judge.

-suction suddenly emerges from the tube, pulling the bone down its length-

Captured!Ivysaur: No! -jumps forward, and gets pulled into the suction as well-

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

???: Who is wasting my power? This section is of no benefit yet...

-and the suction stops-

300 meters down the tube

Captured!Ivysaur: -comes to a stop, only to see the bone fall down a vertical branch of the tube- @_@

"The Capital", PMD-B

-To Gene-

Can't be any worse than our last gig.

Eterna, PMD-B

-Team Nova has finally arrived back in Eterna and is now returning the ring to the Piloswine-

Doc: Here's your ring back. Good riddance. No more drinking, ever.

Thresher: Is there anything that we said before taking the ring?

Piloswine: Your Audino friend mentioned having the wedding ceremony in an old prison nestled near Mt. Coronet with a special staff.

Doc: -Puts a hand to his chin- I guess that's where we're going next.

Piloswine: You kids be careful out there, that prison is crawling with ferals, and your scarves won't protect you.

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.

"The Capital" - Kanto-B

<Gino "I think that's a 'yes,' nyan.">

<Tessie: "Good. I look forward to hearing back from you... As does the Federation. Also, it's late. You all should probably find a place to stay for the night.">

<Nadia: (*yawn*) "No kidding...">

-And the group heads off in search of a place to sleep-

Giant Chasm - PMD-B

<Hatchet: "So... You're a god, huh? ... How long have you been around?">

<Kyurem: "Thousands and thousands of moons... I was around when Reshiram and Zekrom laid waste to Unova at the bidding of their feuding heroes. I was around when Hoenn was laid low by the quarrel between Kyogre and Groudon... I was sealed away by the activities of the one who laid waste to Sinnoh through his foolish attempts to achieve godhood... And freed by the great ones who accompanied Reshiram and Zekrom's heroes who liberated this world from the grasp of the fiendlords who used to rule from above what is now called Opal Town... And... I was there when the seven, in their lust for power turned humanity into mons. So that they could skirt the rightful punishment that their deeds deserved. Friggin' loopholes. And I was-">

<Hatchet: "Wait a minute, did you say that the humans were turned into mons?">

<Kyurem: "That is correct, yes...">

<Hatchet: "And what's this about them not being able to be punished?">

<Kyurem: "At the time, humans and Pokemon had a bond whose boundaries were controlled by rules we gods set forth. We called it 'The Vow'... In retrospect, we probably should have made the rules of Pokemon on Pokemon interactions a bit more stringent.">

<Hatchet: "No kidding...">

<Kyurem: "... I don't believe you've ever told me your name, Fraxure...">

<Hatchet: "Oh me? I'm Hatchet.">

<Kyurem: "Well... It is late... And I was wondering... If you needed a place to stay for the night... Would you be interested in staying here?">

<Hatchet: "Yeah, sure. Why not? Even if it feels like a freezer.">

-And curls up beside the fire-

Flipside - PEFE-That-Was

<Bottles: (*yawn*) "What else does it say?">

-I continue reading aloud-

A Number of Entries Afterwards

Perhaps I haven't been keeping as good of a record as I should have... But. I'm not sure if we can do anything of value at this point. We successfully cut off Qoriik's goons' access to the space tunnels. And have been successful at talking most of them down into surrendering. (Sometimes after knocking a bit of good old fashioned sense into them first.) Karst also is finally ambulatory (though not very talkative), and a few of our own appear to be successfully getting over some nasty wounds of their own. And I've made a good friend with a Staraptor that cast her lot with the Cubone... Apparently her trainer used to call her 'Raptor'.

That's more or less where the good news ends. We still can't move around a whole lot. Qoriik's peons and the others that chased us through the space tunnels may have been taken care of, but we can't seem to shake this air support that came along after the first couple of days. They perform hit-and-run attacks normally, since they figured out that hanging around too long will leave them easy prey for the turrets. Most of the upper labs are out and out gone. The mainframe appears to be non-functional. And communications outside of HQ are utterly dead. Meaning we have no idea whether or not the group that went to Hoenn is still alive... Or mons like Mike who wound up getting chased down different tunnels than we did.

A few of the aerial raiders got downed earlier today. They're for the most part fine, if flight-challenged for the immediate future. We'll be attempting to interrogate them to figure out just what's going on outside. Not sure if we'll have any luck though. Except for that Garchomp, but he seems scared enough to just tell us things that he thinks we'll want to hear instead of the truth.

Can't help but feel as if I've seen him before... But where?

The Entry After That One

I knew that Garchomp seemed familiar. He was apparently one of the mons that got marooned after what happened to Kanto. Which would explain a lot about his behavior after being captured.

As for the matter of how it was that these punks operate, I think that I've got the matter cleared up... There's apparently seven main blighters. Qoriik is one of them, the Altaria we ran into is 'Vallok', the head honcho's some 'Alduin' mon, and there were a bunch of other dumb-sounding names that were thrown around. Hoenn's apparently taken, though there's a lot of trouble on the ground... I hope that the guys we sent there are okay. At this point, it really seems like a matter of time before humanity as we know it simply ceases to exist... We tried to figure out if any of these mons know how the bomb that went off here works, but no dice. They're as stumped as we are.

On the other hand. We pieced together from Karst and a few others how it was that they recruit mons into this whole business in the first place. Some of these mons are true believers, and seriously think that having a weakness to ice gives them a mandate to rule the world... Most of them... Seem to have been manipulated. They're told many things by their higher-ups. That if they don't chip in, they can look forward to being ostracized by their families and loved ones (there's apparently some sort of massive clan system among dragons, go figure) and treated like dirt by everyone else. A few of the mons that are captured here actually had trainers or were humans themselves, and were pressured to join in order to give their teammates and families a better existence. To keep them from being driven from their homes.

It really is sickening that for a movement that espouses the inherent nobility of dragons, that it would stoop to such methods to ensure loyalty. I don't know why the gods haven't intervened, even if some of these grunts seem rather fearful of it (a few are convinced that the likes of Palkia and Dialga will intercede on their side due to being draconic). But even if they don't, I'm not sure if the machinations of this 'Alduin' have a future.

<"... 'Alduin' did all of this? Our Alduin?">

<Pidgin: "Uh, hey, Tracer, right? Uh... Did you need to stay here for the night?">

<"Eh? Why do you ask-">

-And notices that Pidgin and I are the only mons still awake in the module-

<"Uh... I guess so, yeah...">

<Pidgin: "Will you be heading to bed soon?">

<"... Maybe after just a couple more entries.">

<Pidgin: "Whelp, goodnight, then.">

-And settles down in his nest-

<"Goodnight, Pidgin...">

Spectrum's Dream

Spectrum and Goggles are in a desert. A sandstorm is blowing. Goggles is wearing a traffic cone hat and wielding a golden umbrella. Spectrum is donning her tinfoil hat — which looked more like a silver fedora now — and her red sunglasses.

Dream!Spectrum: <No trace... of her... anywhere...>

Dream!Goggles: <I'm sure she's here. The prophecy said so!>

Suddenly, a column of swirling sand starts rising. When it settles, Marmalade appears out of it.

Dream!Goggles: <See? I told you the prophecy was right!>

Dream!Marmalade: <I'm afraid the prophecy won't help you now! With the power of your voice, I am   INVINCIBLE!   >

Dream!Spectrum: <You sent that sea witch and the Syrup King as decoys... You put the blame on a defenseless Purrloin... I knew leaving you for Salamence was a wise decision...>

Dream!Goggles: <Spectrum! Your voice! You're starting to recover it!>

Dream!Spectrum: <I am? I am!>

She grins a triumphant grin

Dream!Marmalade: <No... That can't stop me... You've only recovered one color!>

She conjures a staff with a Spoink pearl at the end

Dream!Goggles: <I'll fight her! You just keep draining her power!>

He turns toward Marmalade

Dream!Goggles: <You're not gonna rule the desert this time!>

He and Marmalade fire colliding Ice Beams at each other from their weapons

Onion Ocean

Spectrum abruptly wakes up

Spectrum: <Aww... Wait... Did it actually happen? ...No... My voice is still...>
