A park officer notices Roc and walks towards us. The Staraptor simply yawns and ruffles his wings.

"Oh, okay. Yeah, don't wanna get myself shot ^_^'."

Hey! You all! What are you doing in my studio!

Eee! It's old grumpypants! What are you doing here? This is my Narration now!

Think again, kid. I need the place right now. So you need to get your team and—hey, Phinny! Is that you? Geez, why do you need so many people? Why are there three research guys? Phinny's the best in the business, he's all you need. Who's the kid with the notebook? And why is there a guy with a giant book over there?

Well, I just want to make sure things are right! Bulbs and Chip do just fine, thank you very much! Narrator is my assistant. Rauol over there makes sure things run according to the rules.

Y'know what I just heard? "I can't run a Narration on my own". Now scram, I need the place. Phinny, you stay, and I need the time dude. Hm... you with the texts, I might need you too, and might as well enlist the set guy.

Quite a while ago, Twinleaf Town

The girl. Yeah, this is still when that girl was around. But it's towards the end; in fact, this is the last time she's in her human form. She's already made up her mind, but she wants something else. And I can't tell what, because the infuriating kid found a way to keep it from me.

But more on that in a second. Right now she's standing just outside town, on top of one of those ledges. She's just kind of standing there, staring at the town. It's actually pretty boring, but that's her for you.

"Hey, Narrator?"

Weird. No "shut up". The kid must be out of sorts.

"Gee, thanks. Anyway, I wanted to ask you something."

And this something is...?

"When I leave... would you come with me?"

You were expecting me to stay behind?

"Well... yeah." She hugs herself. Like she's trying to get pity. But no matter. I don't really have an answer for this.

"Just talk to yourself and that weird voice about me like an inferior," she snaps, but sounds sad.

I mean seriously. Really, just think about it for a second. Look back on your life. No, I mean all of it, you moron. You've been alive longer than a year or so, haven't you? No, really, that's a serious question. Sometimes you—

There, see? I've been up all alone. No team, nothing but the kid and her family don't get your hopes up about ever seeing that family, and some wild Pokemon. So when I get back here, I damn well want the use of my studio. And didn't I tell you to scram?

Bye, Mr. Grumpy Bigshot Narrator. I'll just get back to my—Oh Jerkass Façade! Now I've lost track of Hunter and Ashley! Narrator, I need you to go find them. Ted, check the sets to see where they've passed. Clicker, hit the remote, I want to watch Pastoria in the past so I can see when they left.

The guard walks up to Guy. "Excuse me," he asks very seriously and swinging his steel baton with taser endpoint. "Is that Staraptor yours by any chance?"

As soon as the guard reaches enough height, he swings his tazer baton at Roc, who simply moves his wing to avoid the hit. The guard, annoyed, tries to climb up for an easier hit...

...Both the human and the bird of prey look down at the ground far below and notice the lamppost has just snapped. It starts moving slightly, then just a bit faster, and then falling off. The guard turns his head and looks some distance away, then realizes the lamppost is going to fall on a conveniently placed [wall of spikes].

Guard: "...Aw damn, this is not covered by my insurance..."

Roc yawns as he goes down with the lamppost...
