-at the Butwal beach-

-walking towards the rocks where the mons are-

-meanwhile, Ichtacya hopelessly tries to distract Aqua-

Ichtacya — <Look at those cute Goldeen in the water~! it's hopeless! *sigh*>

-Shahinne chirps from under Copahue's wing-

Chord: -To Diesel.- <Oh, cool.>

Woolly: -Waves hello.- <Hi, Sneasel!>

Pleo: <Hey, Lake? Why is Stratus afraid of Sneasel?>

Lake: <It's because Sneasel are part Ice type. And Dragons are weak to Ice type attacks.>

Pleo: <It's a type thing? Oh, I see. I don't know all my types yet.>

Lake: <It's okay, little guy. I didn't either, at first. But I leaned them eventually.>

Harriet: <Um, guys? I don't think he really likes being called cute...>

-After the tour, Star and Jenna's mons are hanging out at Vinny's dream house-

Sneasel: <Erm...hi random Ampharos.> -waves-

...Hey, do you want a name?

Sneasel: <...I'm Jab. And don't forget it.>

Jab it is, then. -takes out a notebook, flips to an empty page, and writes down: Male Sneasel: Jab-

Jab: <Still can't believe this is all because I tripped on an Ultra Ball...>

Aqua: <...> *looks at Ichtacya* <Why was Algira eating a Pokemon?> *a frightened look passes over her face* <Is...is she going to eat me too?>

-I briefly recall accidentally capturing the Suefish the same way back in Unova, shuddering at the memory.-

-Pleo pokes his head over Lake's shoulder so that he can look at Jab.-

Pleo: <...Cool...>

-notices Pleo-

<Oh! Um...> -kneels- <My apologies, didn't notice you...>

-Ichtacya sighs and nuzzles against Aqua's head-

Ichtacya — <Awww... I don't know if your parents explained this to you, but...> — pleadingly looks at Rascal — <look, not all Pokémon are lucky enough to have a Trainer that gives them food and care... OK?>

-turns to Algira-

Ichtacya — <But others like her are just... mean. Still, she's not going to eat you. She eats bugs...>

-Algira is trying to push the Sewaddle beneath Copahue's wing, but he carefully shoves her away-

Xatu: <I could've sworn I teleported her with us last night.>

DS is probably going to kill me when we see her again.

Thresher: -Is taking a nap and appears to be having a really good dream-

Pleo: -Looks slightly awkward.- <Uh...You don't have to bow.>

Treeo: <Wait...Where's Stratus gone?>

Stratus: <I'm behind you...>

-Treeo turns around, finding Stratus behind him, shivering.-

Stratus: <Please don't let him hurt me!>

Treeo: <Well, hiding behind me won't help much. I'm weak to Ice, too.>

Rascal: *comes over, nudging Aqua away from the scene; gives Ichtacya an apologetic look* <Come on, dear. I'll explain it to you on the way back to camp.>

Aqua: <...Okay.> *looks back at Ichtacya, then at the Sewaddle*

Sewaddle: *is pushed away by Copahue, its frozen, dead eyes appearing to be staring at Aqua*

Aqua: *shrieks and runs*

Rascal: <Aqua!> *chases after*

Aqua: *keeps running until she bumps into someone; sniffles* <Gr-grandpa...>

Rex: *leans down and picks her up* Hey, what's wrong Aqua? *pets her gently* Were you the one screaming?

Aqua: *sniffle, hic*

Jab: <Oh. Okay...> -gets up-

-notices Stratus hiding behind Treeo, gets a mischievous grin-

<Hi Dragonite!> -hops up onto Treeo's head-

Jab! Stop that!

-Walks besides Rex, sees Aqua-

— Oh, oh... is Aqua hurt?

-Ichtacya barks and makes a gesture for me to watch at Copahue. Algira, who is sitting on his head, casually flies away-

Ichtacya — <It's Shahinne.>

-I reach up and peek under Copahue's plummage, finding a Starly. There's also a dead Sewaddle around-

Shahinne (from under Copahue's cover) — <Is the world done spinning yet? @_@>

-sigh-

-to Rex-

— The kids were in some sort of trouble. Hmmm... — looks at Algira flying to a tree — this will require some explaining.

Treeo: <Huh?>

Stratus: <EEEEEEEEP!!!>

-Stratus cowers in fright, his antennae glowing to show that he's raised a Safeguard.-

Stratus: <Please don't freeze me!>

Guardé: <You vile thing!> -Stands up.- <Leave the Dragon alo-Ooh...> -Clutches his head in pain, sitting back down.- <Eurgh. Sorry, can't do it now...>

Felis: <You're really that afraid of a little Sneasel? Tell me again why Luke keeps you around.>

Jab! Leave Stratus alone!

Jab: <...Calm down, man! I'm not gonna freeze ya!> -pokes the Safeguard- <Ooh, shiny...>

Jab...

Jab: <Ah, fine.> -hops off Treeo's head and goes over to Felis- <Watch it, kitty.>

Rascal: *runs up, looking a little troubled*

Rex: Ah...hey, you're looking down too. What happened over there? *starts to walk towards the rocks*

Aqua: <NO!> *squirms, trying to wrench free of his grip* <Don't wanna go back! Don't wanna!> *bites his hand*

Rex: Owch! *drops Aqua to the sand*

Aqua: *scampers back to camp fearfully*

Rascal: *follows again, trying to make sure she doesn't get lost*

Rex: Oh dear...what's gotten into her? *rubs the bite and jogs after them*

~Elsewhere~

Swadloon♀: *hysterical* <H-he was right here! I know he was! I just...I turned around for a moment and he was gone!>

Swadloon♂: *tries to comfort her* <It's not your fault...>

Swadloon♀: *weeping* <My poor Sewaddle...>

Stratus: -Opens his eyes slightly.- <Is he gone?>

Lake: <Er, sort of.>

Stratus: <Oh. Okay...Goes back to cowering.>

Woolly: -To Felis.- <Hey! Leave Stratus alone! He's just afraid of Ice Types, that's all?>

Treeo: <It's only natural to be afraid of the types you're weak to. I bet you're afraid of Bugs and Fighting types, aren't you?>

Jab: <Hey! My claws aren't little!> -waves them in Felis's face- <Got that?>

Aqua: *runs into Rex's tent and hides under a blanket, shivering in fear*

Rascal: <Aqua...>

Aqua: *whimper* <Don't make me go back.>

Rascal: <...Okay, dear.> *lies down next to the blanket, nuzzling against her*

Aqua: *nuzzles back, still shaking*
