-Muddy fires an absolutely massive wave at Unite-

-Abigail is crying about Vanilluxe's KO-

Basket: <Whoa, Unite's maneuverable!>

Rufus: <One hit, and he's down... but he has to be hit first! Now this is interesting!>

-Pankaja is suddenly interested by the Surf-

Unite: -Eyes go wide.- <OH CR->

-Unite is cut of by the wave completely swamping him, washing him over to me and Lake.-

Unite: -Spits some water out of his Beak.- <Tell Woolly I tried...> -Faints.-

Of course I will.

-Recalls Unite, then sends Woolly back out.-

Woolly: <Uh-oh...>

You can do it Woolly! Signal Beam him!

Woolly: <Okay!>

-The Ampharos points her tail bulb at Muddy, firing a beam of multicolored energy out of it at him.-

-Muddy gets hit and faints-

You did well Muddy.

-Recalls him-

Go Throh!

-Throh appears-

Use Earthquake!

-Throh causes a tremor-

Cotton Guard! Quick!

-Woolly bleats in fright, but manages to protect herself with a coat of thick cotton, softening the blow significantly.-

Woolly: <...Phew!>

Throh, use Grass Knot!

-Throh uses florokinesis to trip Woolly-

Woolly: <Oops!>

-Thud!-

Woolly: <Ow...>

-Woolly's at 45% HP now.-

Thunderbolt!

-Woolly blasts Throh with a Thunderbolt.-

-Throh once again trips Woolly-

Woolly: <Yikes!>

-Woolly hops to avoid the Grass Knot.-

Okay, Thunderbolt again.

-Woolly zaps Throh with a bolt of electricity.-

-Throh causes a tremor-

Woolly: <URK!>

-Woolly takes the Earthquake and is reduced to 20% HP.-

Woolly: <I can't keep this up much longer!>

Okay, this isn't working. Woolly! Come back!

-Recalls Woolly.-

Lake?

Lake: <Okay. I won't let you down.>

Atta' boy.

-Lake runs onto the field again, running over to Throh and slamming him hard with an Ice Punch.-

-Throh gets brought down to the low yellow-

Throh, use Grass Knot!

-Throh uses the distance between the two mons to trip Lake-

Lake: <WHOA!> -Thud.- <Ow.>

-Lake pulls himself back up, now at 45% health.-

Lake: <Should I do it? It's risky...But It'll give me a much needed boost.> -Thinks.- <Well, it's all or nothing, I guess.>

-Lake takes a deep breath...-

Wait, what?

-...Then blows himself a Bubble Shield, lowering his HP to 20%, but at the same time, activating Torrent!-

Lake! Are you crazy?!

Lake: -Grins.- <Don't worry! I know exactly what I'm doing!>

-Taking advantage of the boost in power, Lake charges Throh with a super-powered Waterfall.-

Throh, use Endure!

-Throh manages to survive with only 1 HP-

Now use Reversal!

-Throh hits Lake with a palm thrust-

Lake: <WHAT?!>

-Lake's bubble takes the attack for him, but ends up bursting from the sheer amount of damage taken.-

Lake: <Darn it, I was hoping that would last for longer.>

-Lake shrugs, then Ice Punches Throh.-

-Throh faints-

Go Helios!

-Helios appears-

Helios: <Let's finish this.>

Use Bug Buzz!

-Helios beats his six wings profusely to bombard Lake with sound-

Lake: <AAAAHHHHH!!!> -Covers his ears, now reduced to 5% health.- <I'm not going down that easily!>

-Lake charges Helios with another Waterfall.-

-Helios faints-

Good job buddy.

-Recalls Helios-

Go Hydreigon!

-Hydreigon appears and goes into an Outrage once I snap my fingers-

Lake: -Eyes go wide.- <Oh boy. Nadia's not going to like this...>

-Lake braces himself, but gets slammed by the Outrage and sent flying.-

OH NO!!!

-Lake lands next to me, embedding himself in the ground so that his bottom half is sticking up out of the ground.-

...Lake?

Lake: -Muffled.- <I'm done...Luke, you can do this...You still have Woolly...>

...Yeah, I do...

-Takes a deep breath, then releases Woolly.-

Woolly.

Woolly: <Hmm? What happened to Lake?>

He's fine, don't worry. It's all up to you now. You can do this...Right?

Woolly: <I...I don't know...>

Well, just do your best. Okay?

Woolly: -Nods.- <Right!>

Okay, Signal Beam!

-Woolly shoots Hydregion with a Multicolored laser.-

-Hydreigon noms her Tanga Berry to lessen the damage taken and continues her Outrage-

Woolly: <OH NO!>

-Hydreigon slams Woolly, knocking her down to 5% health.-

Woolly: <Eurgh...Can't go on...Luke, I'm Sorry!>

Woolly...Come on, give it everything you've got for this last one. You can do it.

-Woolly, with an intense look on her face, charges up a Focus Blast.-

Woolly: <I can't lose this! I WON'T!>

-Woolly tosses the Focus Blast at Hydregion.-

Woolly: <I WON'T!!!>

-Hydreigon manages to barely hold on and finally finishes her Outrage-

- Still watching the battle -

Looks like it's coming to an end... It's really exciting, isn't it?

HotStuff: <Sure is.> (finishes eating another banana, and puts the banana peel into a small pile of banana peels on the empty seat next to her)

-Algira cries enough water in my shoulder as to complete a Water Pulse-

Algira — <Oh Helios... I hope he's all right...>

Dintel — <Lake lost too... those Pokémon killed his bubbles...> — sobs.

-Maekrite and Xatu watch the battle without much apparent emotion-
