Well, I've got some things that need doing first, but once that's taken care of, I can help properly. Got folks who'd also be willing to help with me.

Old Cemetery, past

-Everyone who can't fly or Protect is hurled back-

Akiko: -Flies above the Bulldoze, plotting, before firing a Shadow Ball from above-

Yew: -Bulldozed- <I've heard of having one hoof in the grave, but this is ridiculous.>

-Responds with another Payback-

Magtail: -Looks more annoyed than anything else as she releases herself from the ground, slightly shivering from Spectrier running through them- <God or not, you're still just some horse!>

Hitodama: -Takes the most damage from the Bulldoze and floats listless- <Urgh... Such power...>

-Righting herself as she uses Will-O-Wisp-

<But I am no normal Chandelure.>

-Eyes glow as she starts calling upon the ambient spirits of the area, and some of the dead foliage starts coming back to life-

Muddy: -Clashes in a bout of strength with Spectrier, the one mon not to be moved- <You're not the first legendary we've tangled with, you know.>

-Smirks-

<And well, head-on does tend to be a pretty good distraction.>

Now!

Pugh: -Starts violently pumping her fists-

Diplo: -Appears from below and strikes at Spectrier's back while they're preoccupied with Muddy-

-Tyl and Ginny are to the back, absolutely terrified at the things they see coming from the graves-

Ersatz Alliance, today

Chiyo: -Standing in front of the entrance- Okay, I heard through the grapevine this was a good clothing store, but what to get...

Dactyl: -Next to her- <...Beats me, we don't wear clothes.>

-To Merlin- Please stop.

-Kai just stares for a few seconds longer, before swearing under her breath and getting up.-

Kai: Someone knows too much.

-She rushes out, sending out Wilbur. The Grumpig flails in surprise at the massive wall of flames-

Wilbur: <Aaaaaaa what in the world is going on!?>

Kai: Stay here, help keep the flames from spreading! There's no way to snuff out this sort of burn, and we don't have time to just stand and watch it until it goes out!

Wilbur: <Er, okay!>

-He starts helping with the effort to control the flames with his own Light Screens. Kai starts running after the imposter.-

Rogue: Well, aren't you some familiar faces! I feel popular today!

-Another Crobat swoops by, taking the Aura Sphere with no problem and sending an Air Cutter current at Gangrel to slow him down.-

Crobat: <Hah-hah! It's too late for you, the damage has already been done!>

Wild Area, Giant's Cap

-As the life leaves Hoops, the wall of wind surrounding the fight slows down — still swirling around them, but not quite hurricane-force anymore. Nitrogen stares at the crumpled body, stone-faced.-

Nitrogen: ...Mission complete. You did what you need to do, kid.

-She puts a hand on Vana's shoulder.-

Nitrogen: It won't be as hard next time. But for now, we need to leave. We've made our mark.

-Grieve hops down from the rock.-

Grieve: <Typical School wastefulness.>

Chiyo: -Walking out, a light blue armband (But not an Armband) in her hand- You know it's kinda weird that they'd just give me this for free. Admittedly I'm also not sure if the cashier was human or not.

Dactyl: -Observing the armband- <What's that saying, don't look a gift Mudsdale in the mouth or something like that?>

Chiyo: -Shrugs- I suppose, guess I can try it on right now.

-Puts it on and there's a brief flash of light as Chiyo recognizes she's gotten much smaller and squishier-

Milcery!Chiyo: -Floating up, annoyed- <Oh no, not this again.>

Wyndon Rain Bistro - Aug 21st

-Whiptail ducks beneath the Air Cutter, but it hits Gangrel in the air and nearly sends him crashing, only for him to catch himself at the last moment.-

Gangrel: <Grrrr... I shall feast on your master once they can run no longer!>

-He responds by whipping up a Hurricane of wind to send flying at the Crobat and thief as Whiptail keeps running - only to notice who's running after her.-

Whiptail: Waiwaiwait- Kai?! What are you- I swear I had no idea you'd be here! Look, I had some time to reflect on myself after the whole School murder attempt thing and I realised I was starting to get obsessive and stalker-ish and like, that's on brand for a vampire but not how I wanna be around someone who's actually been kind to me, so I was gonna give you some space and do my own thing - but then this creep showed up!

-She jabs a finger at the fleeing imposter.-

Whiptail: I dunno who they are, but they've been doing this for a while now, and they're definitely not Rogue! We can't let them get away!

Alice: ...Well. The enemy of my enemy, I suppose.

-She sends out a Cradily.-

Alice: Cyanide, help Wilbur and Halycon with containing the fire. Whilst the others use Light Screens to restrict the spread, try to extinguish it as best you can with Brine.

Cyanide: <Ugh, but I haven't even eaten yet...>

-Nevertheless, she does as she's ordered as Alice turns and gives chase to the imposter, able to keep a remarkable pace from years of practice running in heels.-

Ballonlea - Past

-Shun continues to stare at Ever, deadpan.-

Shun: ...Based on my professional intuition as a detective, I'm going to assume it's the latter.

-He glances between them and Jade.-

Shun: Since this situation only just came to my attention, there is little relevant information that I can provide. Thankfully, it would appear that Miss Arens is willing to accept your offer of asylum in exchange for what she knows. Which... as near as I can tell, effectively ends my involvement here. However, despite the apathy of my superiors, I would like to request to be kept in the loop if possible. If this Team Rainbow Rocket - did they choose the name in order to make others underestimate them? I can't think of any other reason - is indeed the threat she claims it is, then it would be negligent of me not to monitor the situation.

[Venice], King's Ransom - July 7th

-Rosalinde takes a seat opposite Dr. White and smiles. The scarring across her face seems to have brought with it some sort of associated paralysis, since it only really reaches one half of her mouth.-

Rosalinde: I would consider myself a woman of science, ja. Some in my position might argue that knowledge wants to be free. I suspect you may share my view on the matter, though. What use is searching for knowledge if you cannot profit from it later?

-She lays a number of chips down on the table, announcing her bet to whomever might be listening.-

Rosalinde: Street. Nineteen to twenty-one.

Channah: -starts at Tagg's suggestion- Ah yes welcome back to the Stormchaser Channah, where's Tagg? Oh, I had to leave him behind to become horse feed fertilizer, sorry about that.

-stuff, spectrier disappears-

Channah: Where - ? Oh, shit! -jumps out of the way of the battle and prepares to toss a Pokéball, but gets thrown by the Bulldoze's shockwave- WaaAAaa- -turns into Fletchinder while mid-air and kicks up a Tailwind while righting herself-

Parfum Palace

Kamon: -looks around, waves awkwardly at Julius from behind the group- Hullo~

Vana looks at Hoops' crumpled form once more, then turns to leave. She stumbles momentarily, and he hand closes around something, but then she is back on her feet, with Hummy following her.

It's time to return to the School.

Giant's Cap, The Death of a Friend

-As the whirlwind wall dies down, Ian and Evelyn run over to the now-lifeless body of their friend Hoops. Evelyn looks at the scene as the worst has happened... She noticed a faint glimmer of light out of the corner of her eye. Without uttering a single word, she has Hatty go over and investigate the glimmer of light. The Serene Pokémon hops over to the source of the light and discovers that it is a completed Gym Challenge medal lying in the mud... Hoops' Gym Challenge Medal...-

Evelyn: -on the verge of crying- No...

-To Evelyn's horror, the scene that displayed itself was exactly as Evelyn had foretold... It was too late to warn Hoops.-

Evelyn: -crying- P-Please, Hoops... Don't do this... Don't go where we can't follow, Hoops...

-Ian silently tries to comfort Evelyn, but knows exactly how painful it feels. Like when he saw the Interpol Authority's flag waving over Santa's Workshop, the tears he shed fell from his cheeks and stained the ground. He then stood back on his feet, and turned to face the group of Vanadium, Nitrogen and Ferrum. He still looked down at the ground, letting his tears stain the ground as another emotion arose within him...-

Me: -quietly, but just loud enough for Vana, Ferrum and Nitrogen to hear- You're not going anywhere...

Mushraiments, Past

Aislinn: "Hm. Good to know. There's not much risk of Morata running off, so much as I'd like to get it back quickly I can afford a wait."

Jacqueline nudges her.

Aislinn: "Oh, and... thank you. I know this is a lot to dump on someone who's mostly a stranger."

Parfum Palace

-Ian and Evelyn tilt their heads as they look at Origami Julius, mostly because they are flat-out confused.-

Me: I'm dreadfully sorry... I don't think we've met. I'm Ian from Nuvema Town and this is my buddy, Piku-chan.

Evelyn: And I'm Evelyn from Ballonlea and this is my friend Hatty.

Piku-chan and Hatty: <Umm... Nice to meet you?>

Ersatz Alliance

Chiyo: -"Sitting" on a bench- <I think the only thing I really appreciate about this form was giving me the ability to understand you without using telepathy, back when we went with Nicky and Kendra to Treasure Town the time. Otherwise, I can't really use my powers that well, and if the School saw me like this it would be a major liability.>

Dactyl: <You know, we could always try evolving you, now that we have a means of changing back and forth quickly.>

Chiyo: <Yeah, but we'd need to find a Sweet in order to evolve me. Guess we need to hit up some patisseries then.>

-Beat-

<After I get this armband off, I assume that's how the transformation's supposed to work.>

-Shrinks her goo arm back so that the armband can come off, and she turns back to normal-

Neon: But I didn't do anything...

-Merlin swooshes and disappears-

-Only to tap Neon on the shoulder as he whirls around, seeing merlin's human form is back in his normal clothes-

Merlin: ...Actually, where IS the J-Team? I forgot.

Neon: Oh! This way!

Fou: <The idiot's back... For better and for worse...>

-and they head off-

Chiyo: -Laying out a Sweet of each type on a tablecloth- Dactyl and I had to go all sorts of battling to get all of these, but now...

-Looking them over-

Which one to pick.

Kendra: -Thinking- Well, the Sweet you pick determines the color of the Alcremie's eyes, so maybe you could try the Berry Sweet, since it's close enough to your favorite color.

Chiyo: Hmm...

Nicky: Or you could go with a Flower or Ribbon Sweet, those are pretty cute.

Chiyo: I don't know...

Dactyl: <What about the Star Sweet, it'll match you, but in a different way than just physically.>

Chiyo: -Picking up the Star Sweet- You know what Dactyl, I'll go with that.

Nicky: Alright then, what about the form?

Chiyo: -Looking out towards the sky- Well, that I already decided, I'm going with Rainbow Swirl, I've got a bit of a brand to keep up after all.

Kendra: -Smiling- Neat!

-Also looking out-

Then we should probably get a move on, if we don't do this before dusk you'll have to wait until tomorrow evening, unless you want to wait another couple hours for it to be dusk in Unova and we do it there.

Chiyo: I want to be under the stars when we do it, so let's try make it up to the roof.

-And everyone starts moving-

-Evelyn and Ian help each other back to their feet.-

Evelyn: -to Julius- To be honest... I don't understand what you ask...

Chiyo: -Is in Milcery form within a circular baking pan, Dactyl below her as she holds the Star Sweet-

<Hmm, we could've done this elsewhere, with way more stars, but I'm fine with this.>

-Nods to herself-

<Okay, let's do this. Dactyl?>

Dactyl: -Starts rotating, the speed of his rotation moving the pan and starting to spin Chiyo within, her shape getting more and more amorphous-

Nicky and Kendra: -Use their hands to shape Chiyo as she spins, the whole sequence going on a good 30 seconds as the Star Sweet appears to get absorbed inside her-

Chiyo: -Starts glowing-

-Whatever was about to emerge from the wall in the Meat Factory, it doesn't seem to follow you out. You end up back in the corridor connecting the Meat Factory and Pokaemart (of course in the process any Phantom Thief outfits returning to normal)... And hey you know that one panel that was clearly a staff door that I mentioned last time you wandered through here? Yeah now it's open, revealing the backstage area of the exhibit-

Galar Mountains

You hum for a moment as you consider the options but eventually your indecision wins out over any kind of firm choice.

"I shall defer to the chef's expertise!"

You give a smile and then realize Krasnaya wants some headpats on your lap. You hesitate for a moment, given how long it's been since you've done something like that but decide to go for it. Pats are engaged.

-Yeah Gale's here now, leaning against the doorway into the room-

Given he's been all folded up into an origami doppelganger. Do you mind skipping Q and A and going straight to the paper-sharp point?

-Gale takes a moment to summon, brandish and then dismiss one of her swords-

-The glow subsides as the now Rainbow Swirl Alcremie Chiyo forms in the baking pan, her back to everyone else-

Dactyl: -Floating up now that his purpose is complete- <How do you feel Chiyo?>

Alcremie!Chiyo: -Turning around- <Different, definitely.>

Nicky: -Looking at Chiyo- Huh, that's interesting, your eyes.

Chiyo: -Blinks as Kendra hands her a mirror- <Oh?>

-Chiyo looks for the most part like a standard Star Sweet Rainbow Swirl Alcremie, the Sweets in question adorning but with one difference. Rather than the usual yellow, they're typical Schoolkid purple-

Kendra: Figures that you'd probably keep those.

Chiyo: -Headtilt- <Yeah, it tracks.>

Castelia Rooftops - August 17th, 10:00 A.M.

Orpheus: "It's been some time, hasn't it?"

<Since you saw him?>

Orpheus: "Since we were bested so througly. To hell with Kai's plans, we're killing the lot of them."

-Orpheus cackles madly, pulling an Ultra Ball from his belt.-

Orpheus: "And you, Unit Zero. My Chimera. Finally time to play. Wouldn't you agree, Jessica?"

-From Orpheus's other hand thin strings of Obscura flow, connected to a three-tailed Vulpix carved from shadows, body dark purple but eyes bright silver.-

Illusory!Jessica: <Yeah, I'd say so. Let him stretch his legs a bit.>

-Orpheus chuckles sadly as he "recalls" his puppet, the illusion fading as he drops the marionette strings.-

Orpheus: "I am so close to bringing you back. And then the rest of them, and then we can all take our revenge, swear ourselves to service. But for now...I am so, so thirsty."

-Orpheus wraps his Drapion tail around his waist, rubs his tongue across his teeth, and leaps from the building.-

True to Kamui's word she had left the door open, namely by keeping it open by wedging her foot between the frame and door. Hearing the rapid footfalls of a fleeing party, she opened it and saw her trainer booking it, eventually stopping for breath only when he was back in the store.

She caught her trainer before he could collapse, leaning him against the wall and having him sit down.

"You were warned."

"Shaddup." The sight of another opened door earned an annoyed glare from him.

"Next one's on you." With that he reached for his Sun Stone Amulet and returned into a Pokeball after a few seconds, having become a Lycanroc.

Rebel Base

"Yeah, it was, a, uh… pretty big deal for us all. She's a real close friend of a friend too, practically a lover to her," she considered, brushing off her clothes to remove some wrinkles that may have been there. "Anyway, do you need to get suited up, too?" Before Jess could answer, Angel brought the Light Screen back up.
