anyway okay so, due to unfortunate timing, there's two event periods going on in this
the first is the previously mentioned sakura season, which is very 💕🌸💕
the other is basically just, easter with the serial numbers filed off
which... okay. sure. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
problem is, the latter is drawn out over a longer period of time than the former, and for the first half of it, the random event items showing up were absurdly skewed in favor of things for the latter rather than the former
and it's represented by a buneary npc who's blatantly just a Person In A Costume, as opposed to an anthro like the entire rest of the cast, and it looks like a cleaned up version of the buneary from [Five Nights At Freddy's] at that
so. yeah. that's the Context

They begin a long and lengthy powering-up sequence, the exact details of which have been truncated for time, after which they raise the card they found earlier.
They raise their arms, and a barrage of icicle-shaped projectiles starts shooting out in every direction... except directly in front of them, where their intended target is.
Halis: "H-hey, wait, what? Are you kidding!? Well, whatever, now you definitely can't get away, hopefully! I think! Maybe? Ok, maybe this was a bad idea... but I can't stop doing this, either, so uh, you two do something? Please? This's what I get for trying to be cool..."
Meanwhile...
Euryale: "...And that's why I personally think the 'snake in disguise' thing is stale. It's so tacky, honestly, just admit what you are."
Asterios: "No suspense... too easy to guess otherwise."
