".. Actually, yeah that works too."
Daydre, who was definitely here and doing things the entire time while her writer was busy, is cheering Outlaw on.
"Oh yeah R- Outlaw you beat yourself up!"
... And then the Palace rumbles!
"- wait, excuse me, the Palace is doing what?"
-After a moment, Paula can't help but crack up laughing. Real, genuine laughter.-
Paula: Oh, man, that was... that was good. Listen, you're gonna want to get out of here real quick.
-Outlaw steps back, pulling Paula up to her feet. Shadow Rose also staggers upward.-
Outlaw: You're not about to die on me, are you? That'd be a huge waste.
Paula: Nah, you can't get rid of us that easily. But seriously, you've gotta get out.
-A high-pitched sound fills the corridor. Loud, squealing, almost like a tea kettle whistling with steam. It's a familiar sound to a few individuals.-
Outlaw: Don't have to tell me twice!
-Outlaw's two Shadows both fade out as she rushes through the hallway, just in time to avoid the room erupting in a firestorm.-
Outlaw: Guys, the— the Palace is the Treasure, it's complicated, I understand everything now, I'll explain later, it's getting destroyed, let's go!

Oh. It's doing the Heatran thing. Okay, time to run!
-He dismisses his Persona, scoops up Mimic under one arm and starts running. Anthem follows along quickly behind-
Royal: Oh. Oh that's good actually. Go Outlaw!
Now THAT is bad. I'm not questioning you on getting out of here.
-He attempts to flee-
Merlin: -tosses Daydre a strange amulet- This one's on the house. No favor needed.
Fou: <Awful generous here.>
Merlin: Doesn't feel right charging favors for this kind of thing if people really need it.
Dr. Multimom: Of course he doesn't. None of my team do.

-Violet jumps up and down in excitement.-
Violet: Ooh! I've never seen this before!
-Cady is wandering around, looking for a good place to train. A Noibat is flying around, trying to attract some attention.-
Noibat: <You, you with the Morelull, help!>
Noibat: <They're after me! The Solosis! They never leave me alone! Save me please!>
Noibat: <Please catch me! I want to go with you!>
-Cady pulls out an empty poke ball, which the Noibat dives in.-
Amadeus: <They must have realised I was the best pokemon to protect them.>
Cady: I guess I have a new team member then? I wonder what they were going on about...
-As Cady and Amadeus are heading off, a Solosis emerges from inside the tower.-
A Solosis: <Hehehehehehehehehehe... You won't get away from me that easily...>
-The Solosis follows them.-

Silas looked at Paula, and then commanded Knight to attempt to grab her and dump her into his arms, "We're getting out, and we're taking her with us."
Ribbon nodded and pushed Aspen back a bit, to avoid stepping into the light, "They did," she whispered.
This was a oddity, how could there be a Team Flare out here? Maybe the ideology had caught on with a set of tunnel dwellers, and now they had built themselves up.
The Bandit talked with the others for a bit, before the Excadrill put out the fire, the Liepard hopped into what appeared to be a modified handcar, and the others climbed in as well. They were soon off and away, Ribbon waited for a few more minutes before speaking up, "We're clear."
She stepped into the alcove and looked about, not a lot left, just a fire pit, a vent over top of it, and what looked to be canned rations. She picked one up and inspected it, "Okay so we found non mutated life and humans. Wonder what's going on here."
Stylus had a shiver run up his spine at the Ghost, "Ghosts... outright ghosts... not just ghost types."
He walked along, following the rails, around him were decaying tunnels, overturned subway cars, electric trams, and even what looked to be a bridge section. His wounds were doing fine, he kept the bandages on however.
"/Duck/, you mentioned earlier that humans survived in vaults, like in Fallout? Do you have any information on the Vault Project? Did it include the messed up social experimentation?" Stylus asked as he hopped over a gap, thankful for fighting type stamina and strength.
Me: <So, Ribbon... What did they say?>
PMD-B Group A
Me: But how? Team Flare was defeated awhile back ago? How they can be here?

-Cady is sitting in a cafe with Amadeus and the Noibat.-
Noibat: <Thank you for saving me! They're probably still following me though. Please let me journey with you guys!>
Cady: Erm, okay, but you'll need a name...
Amadeus: <How about my loyal helper?>
Cady: Not quite what I was going for... How about Treble?
Treble the Noibat: <Sure!>
-Copper keeps attacking the bars of a medium sized cage while blue bandit and yellow bandit are doing their best to ignore them.-
Copper: <Let me out!>
BB: Why? We went to such an effort to catch you.
YB: And we spent a bunch of cash to get you this nice secure cage! We even gave you the TV remote because we're so nice!
Copper: <I swear, one wrong move and I'll give you guys hell.>
BB: Oh, shame. Well, good luck with that. We're off to go grab some free expensive jewellery.
-They both leave and Copper continues attacking the cage.-
Evelyn and I: <Who's Team Flare?>
PMD Group A
Me: <W-what! You guys can read my mind?>
Me: <Well, duh...>
Evelyn: <We are Psychics...>
Me: <As well as Psychic types...>
Me: <Anyways, Team Flare, I heard of. There from Kalos and tried to destroyed Kalos, but they where stopped by the champion there.>
Me: -telepathically to Evelyn- ~Great... Poké-Terrorists...~
Evelyn: -telepathically to Ian- ~I just hope they're not Poké-Nazis...~
Me: <There kind of like Team Rocket. An evil team who tries to destroy their region, but stopped by the champion of that region. I haven't been to Kalos, but I had heard of them on the news. So yeah>
Me: <So... Team Flare still lives on here?>
Evelyn: <Think we should tell /Duck/ and Stylus when we run into them?>
Me: -She nods- <Yeah good idea.>
Ever: Dang. How'd you get color from a narrative?
Ever: Well, anyway, Espurr are sweethearts. Let me know if you want to introduce him to Ephemera.
It's good you got your team back. I've missed Bishop, he keeps you honest when I'm not around to.
-they grin, and flop over on Lucius, unseating Oracle-
Oracle: <Hey now!>
Ever: Get your own twink.
Oracle: -climbing on Ever's face instead- <Continue petting me, please.>
Ever: This is extortion.
-The egg hatches into... a Milcery!-
Gaius: Woah! It's... It's...

-Paula is tossed into Silas's arms, and smirks, shifting to what is essentially a lounging position.-
Paula: Y'know, I am back to being a manifested mindscape aspect, I could just disappear. But I'm not, because these are some damn nice muscles and I'm gonna appreciate them while I can. Gods, I miss Verax and his beautiful abs.
-Outlaw races up the winding staircase, into the hallway originally leading from the foyer. Although it is still sufficiently vandalized, the normal decorations have begun to change. No longer is Dr. Robinson's face in the paintings and photographs decorating the walls; the individuals in the images are significantly more varied, though a family resemblance is undeniable.-
-Rose does her best not to look at them.-

Violet: Aw, sweet!
Violet: Get it?
-The male Meowstic watching facepaws.-
Lucius: Oh, you just gotta use the right kind of stick.
-He smiles as Ever drapes themself over him, even if it means displacing the Sobble, and starts running his hand through their hair.-
Lucius: But yeah, I... I'm glad to have them back, all of them. Like you said, Bishop was basically my moral compass for the longest time. Who knows, maybe I've developed one in his absence!
-He grins triumphantly for a second before breaking down into giggles.-
Lucius: Yeah, no, couldn't keep a straight face for that one. Instead, I've got you. Honestly, though, I'd rather have you than a cast-iron sense of right and wrong. Can't say I'm sad to leave that behind me. But yeah, if you wanna have an Espurr staring contest at any point, then Linhardt's right here. He might be a bit narked at me waking him up, though.
-Rakash is actually pretty damn quick running through the halls. Occasionally his movements look a little blurry or he lunges ahead. It's an interesting way of running but doesn't seem to mean anything-
-In a puff of blue flame Mimic is gone and now the pink goop of Shift is under Rakash's arm-
Shift: <Gimmie a moment and maybe I'll become like, a horse or a car or something.>
/Duck/: <It is there my research fails me. Personally, I hold out hope that the positive aspect of our universe has influenced the shelters to be less... Bad.>
-The hard drive makes a soft whine-
/Duck/: <I am always a little surprised whenever someone other than my trainer manages to recognize source materials.>
-Nightingale recalls her Sobble and stares across the battlefield at the damaged but still entirely happy dancing flower that fainted him-
Milo: Well, do you have another Pokemon?
-She takes a moment to breathe-
Acolyte: <Hmph, too many eyes on me...>
-With a flick of the wrist she sends out the Rookidee-
Milo: Ah, you covered your type disadvantage well.
I know he's weak-...
-There's just a moment of actual stunned silence as Nightingale realizes the words that actually came out of Milo's mouth-
Flying is... Oh. Flying's strong against Grass?
Yes, I definitely planned my team well. Acolyte, Pluck!
Milo: Rapid Spin.
-The Rookidee swoops in as the dancing flower spins, the two clash off each other and go clattering away. Acolyte gets back on his feet, the already-weakened Gossifleur faints-
Acolyte: <Hmph, no berry...>
Milo: Hey, nice move! But I've still got one more Pokemon in reserve.
-He grabs the second ball on his hip holster things and winds up for a pitch before realizing something-
Milo: Yaknow I was gonna Dynamax anyways, I can just do that now.
Oh! Acolyte, time to Dynamax!
-The two trainers are almost in sync, Nightingale recalling her bird and activating the Dynamax ball expansion as Milo activates his. When the pokemon are released, they almost fill the arena pitch with Dynamax might-
Milo: Max Overgrowth!
-Acolyte takes to the skies, dodging most of the rapidly-growing plant life the giant Eldegoss is bringing to bear but still getting clipped enough to cause damage before impacting with his foe-
Acolyte: <Seriously, no berry?>
Milo: Oof, a solid hit.
-The crowd goes wild, both Pokemon are still standing as Milo reaches into his pocket and... Somehow manages to apply a Potion to a Pokemon that is both a fair distance behind him and also massive. Taking the opportunity, Nightingale tosses a berry up in the air for Acolyte to eat-
Acolyte: <Hmph, not as tasty as getting it myself.>
Milo: Yep, Max Overgrowth again.
-The two giant pokemon clash again, bird against plant...-
It's a Critical Hit!
Wait who... Oh no. No no no...
-Both Pokemon careen backwards to the far edges of the field... And Acolyte faints-
-Everyone is very quiet as Nightingale recalls her fainted Pokemon and Milo recalls his merely damaged one-
That was just a lucky hit. I would of won if...
Milo: I'm sorry. You're welcome to come back for another match once your team's all healed up.
-Nightingale doesn't reply as she stiffly walks off the pitch-
"Oh yipes," Ammy observed. "One errant hit like that..."
"I hope they're okay."
Balancing urgency with the need to follow someone to find out where to go, Rage and Love rode on Camazotz's back, slightly frustrated.
-Nightingale walks in, still in costume and still with a stiffness of gait that implies certain things about mood. She steps up to the counter, places two pokeballs on the desk and waits without saying a word-
