Ugh... Mobius attacked us big and public in Lumiose, I'm sure you probably saw it on the news, and I brought everyone here to lay low for a couple days before we go... wherever else we're needed. I mean I personally have to head back to Kalos anyway to rescue Limna from that asshole Paul Macraul, and then I have to debrief everyone, but otherwise we don't really have a specific place to go.

Maybe [Japan] since it's relatively nearby. Honestly this is the best thing to happen since then.

Channah: -limping along, having refused her mons' help, she stops to rest against a wall- ...Holy shit. Holy fucking shit. I kissed someone. I kissed Tagg. Fucking shit. -a hopelessly dreamy look crosses her eyes for a moment as she gazes up at the ceiling. Then she shakes herself, laughing a little, and continues along the way, feeling lighter than air and happier than she has in years-

Channah's mindscape after she's gone to bed, Truth's lair

Truth: -disinterestedly contemplating a crystal ball on the table in front of her, which is swirling with warm, romantic pink hues- Aaaaaaand Step One is complete. Eugh.

Ira: -seated across from her, his wrists shackled in red crystal- This is a much more reasonable plan than mine, I must admit.

Truth: I've come to find simpler is better in this type of thing. -gently lays a black cloth over the crystal ball and places it on a shelf. She stares it for a second before turning back to her prisoner- Next phase won't be too far along. If I know myself - and do I ever - it won't take much of a push to get there.

Hotel Richissime, Night

As the city returns to some semblance of normalcy, Shutter and Tommy sit in the balconies of their respective and adjacent hotel rooms, looking pensively at the city as it begins to show signs of life once again. Tommy is especially saddened.

Shutter: Buddy, don't worry about it. If there's anything our stay at the Stormchaser has taught us is that the J-Team aren't gonna neglect them. Shinji and Drake are in good hands.
Tommy: I just feel so bad just leaving them there. I put their lives at risk and not after I had an argument with Shinji. And as if things weren't bad enough, the Stormchaser fled to some Arceus-known corner of whatever and I'm not even sure when I can get them back.
Shutter: I kinda feel awful, too. I am starting to have second thoughts about the notice of loss e-mail I sent our producer. I can't recall how much of it I broadcast live on [YouTube] but by today, everybody knows what I swore she didn't want the world to know.
Tommy: Meaning.
Gimbal, from Shutter's phone: Ex-husband is the crazy terrorist causing the rifts and their anomalies. My two cent's piece, it's probably the reason why she wanted that episode made in the first place.
Tommy: You mean?
Gimbal: Promote the J-Team's heroic activities while maligning her husband. Hey, you try living your life knowing that you were nearly the crazy queen of a megalomaniac terrorist.
Shutter: Observant and likely, though let's withhold judgment until the production actually concludes. The Clavis-Univyse family is in a rough spot right now and I understand that sending the message may have been insensitive.
