A few straggling guards managed to get away from the entire thing, but Colton was rather happy with himself, and especially his team.

Roy and Lucario were tied for body counts. Mae did the most damage. Colton got the most assists.

They all ran into Lumiose, Mae having heard the sounds of carnage when they had to pause.

A Hydreigon stared down at them all, recognizing them as J-Team.

Colton grabbed the choker from Roy and went full ‘mon, the Fire Emblem character going full ‘mon as well.

While the [Sonic] references were undeniable, Colton found himself humming a different tune. His team seemed to share the sentiment, with Talbain, Roy, Lucario and Mae attacking in that order,

-they send the arm skittering along the ground, but ??? reappears, grabbing for it-

Brie: Hey! This isn't Aipom-in-the-middle!

-and she slide tackles him out of nowhere, knocking him away from the arm. She scoops it up, and-

F!Robin rushes after them, more than slightly confused.

Said salamence deposits Siobhan and Vi onto the deck of the stormchaser before Siobhan recalls him.

-and as everyone blinks the last couple spots from their eyes, they find ???, one arm wrapped around PEFE!Every's throat. His helmet's fallen off, and he's revealed as a man maybe a few years older than Amanita, with light skin, blond hair, and pitch-black eyes-

???: Make another move, I snap her neck. Deal?

Ever: ...

Brie: ...

Amanita: Yeah, deal.

???: Much obliged.

Amanita: Look, who are you anyway?

???: Name's Troy, but that's all you'll get out of me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be going.

-The Scizor, Ruby Weapon, attempts to grab Corrin by the neck and pin her to the ground-

-Ever just sort of flops onto the metal and lies there, keeping their left arm folded across their chest-

Pleth: <Uh, yeah, thanks for the pad.>

-and she lands on Ever, who doesn't appear to notice-

-Troy, for his part, has a lot more momentum to spare than the Complex and their mons (particularly after taking three Pursuits at once), skittering along the dome-

-and down the side, into the water-

PEFE!Every: He's able to teleport between biomes, I imagine he can survive a fall.

Amanita: ...I wouldn't hope too hard. He did sort of try and kill us.

-Mezzo and Butterscotch are both blasted out of the air by close-range Moonblasts, and flop weakly onto the pavement-

-thankfully, neither is hurt all that much by the impact-

Mezzo: -sigh- Well, we're fighting now. Go for a Dark Pulse.

Butterscotch: <You know that's not—>

Mezzo: Shut up and do it.

-Butterscotch grumbles, then sends a pulse toward AV-

-Pianis is staring at his laptop in disbelief-

Pianis: This is absurd. How in the world are you supposed to do this?

-Pianis points at the Quagsire-

Each of them took a few Moonblasts less than gracefully. Talbain made an attempt to slam his skull into the Hydreigon’s while Roy stayed back and protected himself in a pillar of fire.

Lucario, recognizing a type-boosted Moonblast from what Sylveon put out, channeled and fired while Mae attempted to slap the derg with her tail.

And then Mezzo and Butterscotch turned up. Talbain casually waved to them while recovering his stance, fangs on fire.

PEFE!Every: The portal created by Troy brought us between universes. We're currently most likely in Troy's home universe.

Pleth: <Oh, hey, alternate timelines. That's fun.>

Brie: Dresses like paramilitary, Pokemon abilities that seem a little bit out of the realm of your average Auric, kind of unimpressed by actual Pokemon.

PEFE!Every: Yes.

Brie: You think we're in...that universe?

PEFE!Every: It seems very likely.

Brie: Which would mean that this dome...

PEFE!Every: Yes.

Brie: ...Is it always this hot?

-there's a pause-

PEFE!Every: I think we should get inside.

-As Daydre comes in-

We have the Stormchaser attempt to fly out north towards the Badlands, and see what Multiman has follow after us or have waiting for us. They know the Stormchaser is our home, and we're obviously not fighting with the others, so they've likely assumed that we're either hiding somewhere or are on this.

If I'm understanding Multiman correctly from what I've heard about him from you, he won't be able to resist our bait and end up playing his hand earlier than he wanted. Of course we still have to worry about Izaya, who I'm pretty sure doesn't have Multiman's lack of guile, but this'll be dangerous regardless of his involvement.

So... You guys up for this?

Brie: Can we just teleport in?

PEFE!Every: Not without proper authorization. I doubt I have it in this timeline.

There are hatches for fliers to get in and out. One should be around here, I think it's a little of the ways underwater though.

Brie: If...we should probably be careful about how long we spend underwater. Even with a Dive bubble.

Atlantis: <I can take Brie and one more. Amanita, is Box able to Dive?>

Amanita: Uh, yeah?

Atlantis: <As for Ever and Every?>

PEFE!Every: I've got nobody on hand.

Amanita: Ever, if you don't have a Dive mon I can take you on Box.

Ever: Don't worry.

-Atlantis dives closer to the water, letting Amanita off as she slips into Box's Dive bubble. She flies up and retrieves PEFE!Every before joining the Tentacruel in the water-

-and then Ever recalls Pleth and simply slides off the side of the dome, plummeting towards the water-

Brie: Ever, wai—

Ever: Mimic.

-they send out Muninn, a Dive bubble forming as they plunge into the ocean-

Brie: ...Why are you like this?

-Ever just raises a hand to their ear-

Muninn: <That was idiotic.>

Ever: Mm.

-outside of the bubbles, where nobody can be heard, PEFE!Every and Brie steer Atlantis around the dome, Box and Muninn following-

-only a little ways underwater, as promised, there is a small hatch. Atlantis, carrying Brie and PEFE!Every, nestles up to it, her Dive bubble becoming a hemisphere with the dome-

PEFE!Every: Look around. There's nothing for miles. There aren't even any Pokemon left in the oceans. A Dive bubble wouldn't last long enough to get here, and anything above the water would die of heatstroke. I wouldn't waste people guarding this hatch.

-she gestures the other Memitos over, the Dive bubbles fusing-

Brie: ...Second question. Can we actually get in?

PEFE!Every: Would you have bothered to find and lock it?

-as the Memitos file in, Amanita closes the door, popping the Dive bubble as a little water splashes in-

Amanita: That said, it's...kind of a valid question?

Amanita: Well, we're here now. But what's next?

PEFE!Every: They have way to open portals. It's what they used to raid alternate realities. I think we can use it to get home.

Amanita: ...I guess it's the closest thing we'll have to a plan. Let's go.

-the four start walking down the corridor. Ever lags behind, not seeming terribly interested, and Brie trails behind as well, nudging them-

-Ever gives no response-

Brie: ...First time stuck in an alternate reality, huh?

-they speed up, leaving Brie behind. She blinks a couple times, sighs, and runs to catch up with the group-

-Beowulf stretches out his arms and grins.-

Shaun: "Focus on the Metagross!"

-aside from their footprints on the metal floors, it's...quiet-

Amanita: So, it's creeping everyone else out that there isn't anyone else here, right?

PEFE!Every: It's not so surprising. It's still horribly warm, even in here.

Amanita: That's what happens when you make your impenetrable fortress out of metal.

PEFE!Every: Right. But HQ goes deep. Any remaining populations would likely be concentrated further down. We likely have a measure of security until we've explored further in.

Brie: Where, of course, we need to go if we want to get back to our own world.

PEFE!Every: Yes.

Brie: ...Well, nobody said dungeon crawls were easy.

PEFE!Every: I don't understand the reference.

Brie: We should have out whatever mons we plan on using. Best to be ready before we get into a fight.

-she sends out Phobos, who blends into her shadow, and then Thorn-
