Nudi: <That ice cream thing is weird, and that dragon is scary. I hope she doesn't try to eat us.>

Vanilluxe is an icicle, not an ice cream cone, and Hydreigon won't do anything to anyone as long as she isn't angered.

Velvet: <Oh, I've been fine. We've all been really excited about DS returning here for the Gold Conferance.>

HotStuff: <Um... Food? I'm not sure...>

Sol: <I am too. I'm rather looking forward to testing my battling skills against the strongest trainers and Pokémon. Everyone else is too. In fact, we spent all of yesterday training in preparation.>

-Enters the lab-

I thought you might all be in here. Jane is still asleep, so I figured I'd come and find you guys. I should prepare my team, huh?

Velvet: <Ah, I see. We have also been doing quite a bit of training in preparation for the tournament. And in the process we've also re-discovered several attacks we hadn't used in a while, to the point where I had almost forgotten that I knew all those attacks. I also believe some of us may even have discovered some new attacks that we never knew we could use during our training.>

Lampshade Hanging on the fact that my Sinnoh team had so far in the RP only been seen using the four moves their Platinum in-game counterparts know, and also the fact that some of them gained some new level-up moves in Black and White.

Sol: <Hmm. That's very interesting. I can't recall the last time I learnt a new move myself.>

-Sol pauses to think.-

Sol: <Maybe I should ask my trainer if there's anything new he can teach us via TM. It just might give us the edge we need during the conference.>

-Luxray overhears Velvet and walks over-

Luxray: <Yeah, that's been happening to us too.>

Hydreigon: -Leaves and continues looking for food-

I managed to evolve these two.

-Releases two Pokemon-

Silcoon: <Let me out of this lump of silk so that I can KILL YOU!!! I mean... hug... you?>

Cascoon: <This is not good. This is not good! I can't move! Somebody is going to eat me! AAAAAAAH!>

Velvet: <Yeah, we should probably also ask DS about that. Now that she has gotten those re-usable TMs in Unova, she can finally teach us some attacks she couldn't teach us before because she didn't want to lose the TM afterwards. Oh, and have you been to any of the move tutors in this region?>

-To Cascoon-

I really doubt someone would try to eat a cocoon.

Sol: <No. I can't say we have. Luke did take us to visit the Move Tutors back in Johto a few times. But that was years ago. A trip too the move tutors might be a worthwhile endeavour then. May I inquire as to where they are?>

-Meanwhile, Celestia flits over and come to a hover next to Anom.-

Celestia: <Excuse me, but may I ask if my daughter is currently with you?>

Cascoon: <But how can you know that? HOW CAN YOU KNOW THAT?! I... I bet there's a Staraptor circling above us outside just waiting for me to go out and become prey! Well, ha! I can't move at all, Staraptor! So I can't leave! Ha ha ha... What if it gets in through a window? OH ARCEUS SEAL THE WINDOWS NOW! HURRY! AAAAAAH!>

Velvet: <Well, there's one on Route 212, west of Pastoria city. He taught HotStuff how to use Thunderpunch, and Wings how to use Zen Headbutt. There's also one in Snowpoint city, but we haven't really learned many attacks from that one. And there's one living in the Survival area, you need Rock Climb to reach him, but it's worth it. He taught Sparq how to use Seed Bomb, and taught me Signal Beam.>

-is somewhere on the outskirts of town. After more or less an entire night of hard training, Skywalker has finally evolved and is sleeping peacefully by my side while I mix and match teams. Qui-Gon is wandering through town-

I have a lacrosse game tonight, so can I not have a GC battle? And I'm golfing with my dad tomorrow. Conflicts all over the place.

Luxray: <We only ran into two move tutors. One on Route 210, and another on Route 228. We really didn't consider them very useful.>

Helios: <Yeah sis, that's not very nice.>
