   I really cannot care less, I was separated from the original with the purpose to take over this body. You are threatening a small shard of glass that fell from a window in a building humans call a cathedral. If I can't do it, then I can't do it. Even if I 'do' take over this body, I'm going to be absorbed by the original again, losing whatever individuality I am currently expressing.    .......... what use is enjoying that, when you'll be gone in what will feel like a short time.... And if I don't waste my time on this, what can I actually use it on? Chill out in some emerald necklace, suffer what seems to be an eternity of isolation before getting hope that someone new would find you and actually keep you around forever? Whether I do this or not, I will be absorbed back into the original anyway, so let's just get it over with.   

-Krieg sprawls to the ground, now flailing his limbs and foaming at his mouth. Frieden is desperately trying to hold Krieg in place.-

-Krieg's flail stops. Frieden, panicking, quickly tries to perform CPR. Eleck is sent out for the defibrillation.-

-Bam, Krieg still doesn't move Frieden checks Krieg's heart beat, and it is slowly coming to a stop. The voice soon chuckles, the volume slowly fading.-

-One more electric shock, and Krieg's heart finally starts beat faster.-

   ....... Tch, so close too....   

-Krieg, despite moving his eyes in a scared expression, cannot move his body.-

   It seems that I did, however, gain control of his torso in that panic.

PEFE!Every: Do you remember Ever's Altaria? Her cotton has some unusual properties with respect to time and space. My hypothesis is that it causes events to conspire according to a conceptual "narrative", which in this case means that when I use it for insulation my research takes hours instead of months or years.

PEFE!Every: The ideas are mine. I've checked and double checked and I've run a couple tests on other researchers at PEFE; this stuff won't give you anything you can't work out yourself. It just makes it...faster. I suppose that the idea is that it would be boring to watch a scientist iterate testing and hypothesize and write down results and perform basic rigor, so it just happens...offscreen, as it were.

-Frieden puts Krieg on the couch, puts a blanket over him, and goes on his computer for more research.-

Amélie: "What did you expect, going in this corner? Magically having a stroll from corner to corner to escape?"

She shakes her head then looks at the machine.

"I'm going to be 200% frank: it's a freaking trap, we will unleash the thing in this for the animation in this stupid creepily and dirtily propped studio to continue, Failure Is the Only Option, I PULL IT!"
