-The Elites — α, β, λ, and φ — watch as Mezzo fires a Dark Pulse at λ. It extends a glowing hand, which absorbs the attack like a miniature black hole.-

Samus: <...Of course. Looks like we're going to need to use ̴t͏͡h̵̕e ̢r͞e̷҉̀s̕t̸̀ ͝o̷f͝ ̶̛͘o̸ú̴r̷̷̀ ̡̨̛a̡͟ŗ͏s̨͢èna̛l̀͡.>

-Samus coughs a bit, then shakes her head and rushes up to Elite λ and slams into it with brute [Strength]. It staggers back slightly, obviously not expecting it to do so much. From the sidelines, the Gabite freak out.-

Gabite 2: <THEY'RE DOING THINGS THEY DIDN'T DO BEFORE!>

Gabite 1: <Come on, guys, speed up the work on Project Omega!>

-The other three Elites roar and all attempt to use Shadow Claw on Aero, Wirrbelle, and Venomous.-

-Doomsday rolls her eyes, grabs the lumps of slag, and slams the door.-

Doomsday: <Bolthead! You got a warranty to cover!>

Mezzo: <Argh! Why can nothing go right today?>

-Mezzo blinks as the Shadow Claw passes straight through her-

Mezzo: <...Well, I guess that's one advantage of being Normal type. Now if special attacks won't work...>

-Mezzo dashes straight toward β, claws bared... or at least as much as they can be bared in the mechsuit-

Wirrbelle: <Indeed. Now we can do things much more like we used to.>

-She lets out a Thunderbolt at Elite Pirate α-

Venomous: <Still not everything I'm used to... But at least I've got something close...>

-She lets out a Yawn at Elite Pirate β-

Aero: <What?>

-The bird turned mechasparce hissed in surprise at the Dark Pulse absorption-

<Right... Well I always wanted to try this->

-She hops back as the Shadow Claw phases through her and blasts at the nearest Elite's face with an Ice Beam from her suit's blaster-

Omega Room

-The Elites look absolutely dumbfounded that their attacks failed.-

Gabite 4: <Ugh, you idiots, they're Dunsparce! And, uh, some weird cat hybrid thing. Normal-types! I swear, we don't even need all of Project Dome's subjects breaking out to end up with a bunch of braindead Helix subjects...>

-Elite β growls as it's hit by attacks, although it is stifled by a yawn. It shakes its head, and smashes down on Mezzo with a Dragon Rush.-

-Meanwhile, α uses the same technique λ used and absorbs the Thunderbolt. λ, meanwhile, fires the same Dark Pulse it previously absorbed back at Samus.-

Samus: <Agh!>

-She fires at the ceiling, causing a cluster of rocks to fall down on λ.-

-Elite φ, meanwhile, is not quite fast enough to react to the Ice Beam before it hits it, and gets a bunch of ice to the face. It grumbles and uses an Earthquake, which has the odd effect of having an electric shockwave as well. Due to the strange dual-type nature of the attack, it leaves the other Elites completely unaffected, but the cryo chambers around them start to crack...-

Samus: -staggering from the shockwave- <Ugh... not good...>

Jubilife City, at Alyesha's「ＳＴＡＮＤ」

Phaz: Well... I don't have much to say... Maybe how i got Cynthia... Or what happened in the Eterna Forest and the Old Chateau, which is the first time i saw Glitches...

Cynthia: ~Tell them about the Old Chateau, yeah. I think it's kinda weird but nice.

Phaz: Well... It all started when we were walking through the Eterna Forest with a girl named Ark and a guy named Blitz... We were walking casually, with in our minds the goal of reaching Eterna before night falls. Then we were ambushed by a dozen of Ghost-types, splitting our group in two: Ark and her Mons on one side, Blitz and I with our Pokemons on the other side. While we were fighting them Ark got captured and send to the Old Chateau, so we went into it to rescue her. When we opened the doors of the Old Chateau...

-ellipsis because shenanigans were happening-

... So the Old Chateau began moving and transforming like one of thoses ripoff Trasformons toys you find in [China], so we went full Shadow Of The Colossus and, while our Pokemons climbed the Old Chateau to destroy the core of the Glitch and reason with the Mistress...

Cynthia: ~Volta talked her to surrender... It was weird seeing a Ghost psychoanalyse another Ghost.~

Phaz: ...Ark and I destroyed a part of the Glitch that cut himself from the Old Chateau, with the help of Embry and tree branches. And that's how we rescued Ark and stopped a Glitch from assimilating the world. For the moment i think that's the weirdest thing that happened to me.

Jubilife, Alyesha's Stand

Both Sergey and Alyesha and their teams listened... saying they'd be fascinated would be... quite frankly an understatement going by how they leaned closer and closer to Phaz with big eyes as the story went on so as if to not miss a single word... going by the contents of the story this shouldn't surprise all that much though.

-after the story had ended-

Alyesha & Sergey: "That. Was. Awesome!"

Sergey: "I wish I could have seen that. Maybe we co-"

Mireille: -to all- ~No... no we won't do that.~

Alyesha: "I'd lie if I said that this wasn't interesting."

Phaz: -Finally attacking his pizza- If you say so. *chomp* It may seem cool from the outside, but i was kinda always doing instinctively the things. Now that i rememored the whole glitch battle... Okay, maybe me jumping on that Glitch-spider was cool. But i had Ark and Blitz at my side, and we just did what we were thinking was right.

Cynthia: ~You never told me about the spider! You gained a level in badass, frankly.~

Phaz: Nah, i was in an adrenalin rush. I think this move was kinda dumb and risky.

-Jason looks at his phone-

Alyesha waited with a smile as Phaz started to eat, looking how he would like it, idly stretching out her hand towards Yuri with some sweets... suffice to say they were gone quite fast as some munching sounds could be heard.

Sergey: "Heh, probably should start to eat too."

As he ate he looked over to Phaz

Sergey: "Admittingly I'd probably be scared like hell if this we-" -cue memory of Alyeshazrd Y diving at him- "Err... Ja... I was scared like hell."

Jason:Heh.

Jubilife City, at Alyesha's「ＳＴＡＮＤ」

Phaz: Aaaand as expected it's delicious Alyesha! Thanks a lot for the food! As for what you said Sergey... I don't really know. It's more like I was in a second state more than being afraid... It's like I didn't have time to be afraid, because Ark was in need of being saved. -beat- ...I don't remember feeling this attraction for a friend before to be honest, besides, obviously, my Mons.

Embry: <Miam! It was delicious! Can i have more?>

Phaz: ...You ate the plate?!

Embry: <It's not bread? That's why it was crunchy...>

Phaz: *sigh* Embry, we used bread for plates in the Middle Age... Did you ask Volta about this or what? -to Alyesha- I'm sorry about that, he's pretty young... Do I have to pay you back?

Sergey: "Huh... well if you say it like this... ehehe... well I guess considering I went out of the Pokécenter to retrieve my team... yet when the Glitch dived for me..."

As that happened Alyesha looked at the plate... rather the lack of it, chuckling slightly

Alyesha: "Ehehe... I think you're the first one to find that one tasty... if crunchy."

She chuckled again

Alyesha: "Haha, no no, its alright, I'll prepare the next one on a bread, coming right up."

Phaz: -to Alyesha- Thanks... He already ate a sink so... -to Sergey- Yeah, i saw that when you left. I would've asked you if you would like Volta to scan the area before...

She chuckled and pat the Pokémon

-He shrinks back-

-With the directions of another Mimiga It didn't take too long to figure out which building the missing key belonged to, it seemed pretty obvious from the size and furniture that it was intended for several Mimiga to live in, though nobody was home or responded when Tori called out. Someone had left a rather old looking computer running however-

Tori: "Hm... Hey, wait a sec-"

-Sitting on the desk, Tori finds a pendant made of an Everstone strung on a cord-

"This looks like Ignia's"

.....

-Vrrwip-

-On a circular platform half encircled by a glass tube, Tori reppears in a new cavern. Well, more of a large tunnel by the looks of it. Though there didn't seem to be any other way to get into her current section except via the teleporter she steps off of as she looks around. Unlike before she found the village, this 'corridor' was lit and lined with man(?)made flooring and stacks of metal drums and pipes with a few buildings of some sort placed periodically. It almost looked like walking down a road in a town... Except for the large eggs with numbered placards-

Tori: "Huh... They weren't kidding with the name. Wonder what those are for? They're bigger than any pokemon egg I've seen before"

-Unsurprisingly, her question remained unanswered by the cave. With a shrug Tori wandered down the passage, before long a buzzing noise announced a small group of Yanma flying by, though they seemed uninterested in Tori for the time being. Further along in the cavern groups of Cottonee rested and a few Ryhorn tromped around their territory, though there was still little sign of what this place was for-

-About the time Tori was wondering if she should turn back and see if anyone had returned to the teleporter, she spied an unusually large, white, and feral looking Lopunny in a shirt, tie and pair of slacks advancing on a stack of metal drums where a bit of red could be seen through the gaps of the stacks-

????: <You wanna fight? Fine, you're askin' for it, I use 'ta beat Candlewax in training!>

-With a growl the Lopunny pounced-

-Tori broke into a run, as she closed suddenly a red and yellow buneary landed roughly a short distance away. It put a paw to it's head and started to stand with a groan, then paused when she saw Tori-

<Ooh... ...M...Mama?>

-A white furred paw grabs her around the middle and yanks her off the ground-

<-Eeep!>

-Lane stops running on the edge of town-

Lane:Ngh...dammit...

-He sits on a flight of stairs-

Dammit Lane...why'd ya go and...run off like that...

-He places a hand to his head-

You...really that dependent on them...? W...What happened to getting better. Getting stronger?

We'll get stronger...together.

-Lane sighs-

Yeah...guess I really am...

-He sighs again.-

-A ball on his belt pops open, depositing a shiny charmander on his lap-

Pwan:<Pwah?>

-She headtilts and sniffhifs-

-Beat-

-Lane applies pets-

Lane:Heh...maybe...Jason's right...she's growing up...right, Pwan?

Pwan:<Pwah! Yuh-yuh!>

-...-

-This gets a lil chuckle outta Lane-

Lane:You still have some growin' up to do too, lil'un.

-Pwan gets uppies-

C'mon...a little late night training can get my mind off it. I'm sure they're fine...right?
