-He stops and tilts his head.-

-Champloo flips through a pocket calender. It has lots of blue ink on it and a little bit of red, on the 8th and the 15th, specifically.-

Champloo: <A place... The southern shore of the crater seems to be the most open place, and why not theme it after local cuisine?>

-Ren, Kitsune, Rio, and Lumen are here along with Sara and her Mime Jr, Marcel, and Doug and his Noibat, Shade - with Shade gripiing the top of Doug's head.-

-Lumen is "wearing" a air of navy slacks, a white button-up, a light-blue tie, and a dark-blue double brested vest; Doug is wearing Khaki plated trousers, a red button up, a maroon tie, and a charcoal grey blazer jacket; Sara is wearing a dark yellow pants suit with a black blouse under the suit's jacket with silver jewelry and a white clutch bag.-

-Ren is dressed "casually"◊.-

Ren: Thanks for coming today you guys.

-As the staff shows the group to the Sea Cliff Terrace - that as it's name implies, is on a cliff overlooking the basin - a man with a with an Orange turtleneck, a grey jacket and pants, and a charcoal vest; and a Lady dress in a simple, red evening gown approach the group. A Spoink bounces along side and Rotom-faced device hangs on the man's waist as the lady carries a Anorith that is curiously looking around.-

Mendel: -to Ren, while showing his pass to the staff- Happy Birthday, Mr. Clavis! It's good to see you again!

Lucinda: -hugging her son, to Ren- Good to see you, indeed! Best wishes, I guess. We don't exactly celebrate like this on the island.

-Ren greets his guests while Kitsune teleports to the Terrace and the others take seats the long table lad out for the party.-

Doug: -to Sara- What do they serve here? Seafood?

Sara: -looking at the Menu while Marcel mimes her actions- Mainly. But there is also more stand fare...

-Sara sees the price of a steak-

-Dune and Deziree arrive. Dune is dressed in rather stiff-looking pants, dress shoes, and a polo shirt. Deziree, meanwhile, is in a much more modern version of her very first set of clothes with a slight change in colors. She's wearing a long-sleeved white shirt under a teal blue shoulder dress that goes down to ankles. She's also wearing boots with slightly raised heels.-

Dune: I feel like I can't sit down.

Deziree: That's because you put in too much starch last time you cleaned them, dear.

Dune: I don't do this often, okay? Plus, these dress socks feel weeeeird...

Deziree: I don't know why you bothered, no one is seeing them anyway. Ideally.

Sarah: You know, it would probably be a lot easier for you to just go out and get some semi-casual clothes of your own, rather than trying to fit in as a dragon with a disguise.

Zephyr: <I don't know what to expect! My idea of "semi-casual" still fits under the category most people would call "trashy"!>

Sarah: I did offer you my other dress.

Zephyr: <It didn't fit. Kinda obvious it was meant for flatter girls like you.>

-Sarah goes slightly red-

Outside the restaurant, there is a blip, and suddenly a young man and his Alakazam appear six feet in the air. The boy immediately goes crashing to the ground with a yelp, whilst the Alakazam gently floats downwards.

Lucius: Oof! Not all of us can levitate, Maul!

Maul: ~I thought ghosts could float.~

Lucius gets to his feet and glares at Maul.

Lucius: ...When did you even learn to teleport to Sootopolis, anyway?

Maul: ~I visited a lot of places whilst you were temporarily unliving.~

Lucius grunts disbelievingly and brushes himself off. His definition of "semi-formal" appears to mean "whatever your least scruffy items of clothing are". As such, he's dressed in black pants, a grey shirt and a navy sweater vest.

Lucius: Right. So, um... I'm assuming the reservation's been made already. Nothing left for me to do but walk in and try to avoid making eye contact with anyone unless I absolutely have to.

He makes an effort to straighten himself out, then heads inside.
