-Joseph is talking to a certain blue-haired girl, very quickly as per usual. There is a bag of Dum Dums between them-

Joseph: Anyway, so I was just going up to the weird gym fire lady in Lavaridge a fire gym with water in it isn't that really weird yeah?

Mezzo: Like a Fighting-type gym using darkness, maybe?

Joseph: Yeah, kinda! So I went up to her, and I say, "Hi! I'm going to battle you!" And I had Neptune (my cute little Vappy) out, and he was waving his tail kinda like so.

-he demonstrates, Mezzo nods before stopping and sitting still. Joseph pays no notice-

Joseph: And she looks at me, and I'm pretty sure she was just having a bad day (yeah I'm sure, I felt her emotions, she wasn't really bitchy, just kinda mad), and she was all...

-heaves a fake, overly dramatic sigh-

Joseph: And that confused me, because she was supposed to be so nice, and...

-he blinks-

Joseph: You alright, Mezzo?

-Mezzo's mouth is open, just a tad. Wide enough, for instance, that a small Spinarak could easily climb out of her mouth and climb up her face-

-what's unusual about the Spinarak is its color. It's not the usual green and red marking-it's a bright, solid, candy red-

-behind this red Spinarak follows a blindingly orange one, which positions itself on her chin-

-then, a bright, banana yellow, and an unnaturally lime one. Soon, a Spinarak of every beautiful candied color is pouring out of Mezzo's mouth, the human slowly becoming hollow-

Joseph: ...huh!

-as the mass of spiders crawls all over him, invading every single piece of him (scrabbling across his eyes, tickling his skin, embedding and buzzing in his ears deafeningly), he makes a point to chew as a pink one crawls over his lips-

Joseph: Cotton ca-blllllllllkh!

-and the rainbow crawls inside him-

Joe and Munn's Room

Joseph: I don't even have to open my eyes, do I?

Tinpthed: <red pink pink pink drink QT soda blue orange>

Petalburg Gym

-the Ice Punches mostly just bounce off, as they're hitting nothing important, and Must proceeds to Stomp on the Ambipom-

Hikari's Hotel Room

Jacob: "No it wouldn't, I have an awful singing voice." >.>

"....."

-Sobs internally-

"Where is your window..."

Hikari's Room

Hikari giggled "Not now, Jacob."

-Wherever the window is, a Noctowl slams against it face first.-

Jacob: ".... Oh."

-Looks around awkwardly-

"Um also you kind of never said if you reciprocate or if you're just teasing me."

In a random Petalburg restaurant

-Poking at my food-

I'm not that much of a stick in the mud, am I?

Muddy: <No, you just don't really run into things you find all that funny.>

That's true.

Forecaster: -Drinking a Berry smoothie- <Sol doesn't think you're a stick in the mud either, in fact she thinks you're pretty great.>

Lane:Hm...

I can't let things between me and Francis go too far...especially now that I'm with Tori...I won't let him walk all over me!

-The Ambipom is stomped on and faints-

Norman: "Hm, interesting. Looks like I'll need to redouble my training."

"But for now, take the Balance Badge and Retaliate TM-

-He offers the two to Ever-

Hikari's Hotel Room

Jacob: -Looks towards the window and the poor Noctowl that smacked it's face into it, then looks back at Hikari-

"......."

"Weelllllll could you please answer that? I'm sure this is incredibly amusing to you but I'm kind of just stuck here squirming and uncomfortable not knowing."

Petalburg Gym

Ever: Thank you!

-he bows to Norman, and leaves-

Hikari's Room

Hikari giggles "Jacob, you're an amazingly talented guy, but it's pretty obvious that you're always trying to keep a straight face all the time and you have quite the scientific approach to things. You really should allow yourself to be a bit more casual sometimes, so I guess you need someone to be with you and embarrass and confuse you so you can show your true self more often, as well as someone who can bring excitement into your life."

She giggled a bit

"... Fortunately for you, I'm available."

Outside the Hotel Room

-The Noctowl grumbles and flies away-

Noctowl: <I had the serenading guitar and rose prepared for him, but nooooo, he doesn't need it.>

Outside the Hotel Room

-A pirate ship crashes into the window, but bounces off and vanishes, doing no damage. It's the sort of thing that would easily go entirely unnoticed.-

Hikari's Hotel Room

Jacob: "........."

"I uh... well... I um... okay I need to stop being so awkward about this.

-He starts grinning like a fool- "Wouldn't have it any other way!"

-He's far too happy to notice anything ridiculous like a pirate ship-

Hikari's Room

"See? That kind of awkwardness is one of the things you need in your life and I'm sure going to help you with that."

Hikari's Hotel Room

Jacob: "Yeah, it is. And you're really good at making sure it's there. Also good with doing unexpected and surprising fun stuff and I love that."

"I um... uh... thanks, Hikari." -Smiles-

-Blinks, looks down, then suddenly hugs Hikari-

"This'll be interesting." -Grins-

Hikari's Room

"Well, how about this?"

Hikari then pulls Jacob into a kiss.

... And of course she takes the opportunity to take a photo of it.

Hikari's Hotel Room

Jacob: -Goes wide eyed then relaxes and sighs into the kiss-

-He doesn't even care about the picture-

-He just laces his arms around Hikari and holds her close until they break it off-

"...."

"Well that was wonderful!" -Rests his head against Hikari's shoulder, a small smile plastered on his face-
