-Inside the building, cowering in the corner, is a Haxorus. Her eyes dart from side to side, focused far into the distance. She doesn't respond to either the sudden influx of living beings, and just continues to shiver. She's whispering something under her breath with every chattering heave of her lungs.-

Derek: <... I think.>

Guy: <Jackie, what's she saying?>

-The Trapinch scuttles up and listens for a moment.-

Jackie: <Koraaviikkolom. That one thing, over and over.>

<"...">

<"Translate, now! What the hell does that mean?">

The entirety of the Pirate group is now on its guard.

Jackie: <It means... Watcher in water. But she's saying it like a name.>

Derek: <A name...? Did one thing depopulate this entire outpost?>

Guy: <I don't know, but I don't like it. Check the main building and the other small one, and keep your senses alert.>

Orre - South of Gateon

Jacob: "W-Why me? W-What did I do wrong...? Why did this happen to m-me...? Regina... please come back... please...?"

Beat

-Sighs, realizing it's no use laying here, rolls over and pushes himself to his feet-

-He then begins the long trek back to Gateon-

She starts looking around for loot.

AU!Orre, Oasis Outpost

-The sun has now set, and the desert is dark. The other two buildings are devoid of life, but a small cache of radios, hovercraft parts, and what looks like an old wind turbine are found in storage.-

Derek: <I wonder...>

-Derek goes over and looks down into the waters of the oasis. The silty waters make any attempt to look closer near impossible.-

Derek: <Wait... Oasis water isn't silty. Oases don't have moving water to stir the mud, unless...>

-A huge pillar of water erupts from the oasis as a large, dark form leaps out and slams into the ground behind the Drilbur.-

Justy: <Ohshi- Derek!>

Without even looking, Theta throws a blast of ice in that direction, freezing most of the oasis and hopefully the attacker.

<"Arceusfuckit, get off of him!">

AU!Orre, Oasis Outpost

-The figure dodges to the side, and puts surprising distance between him and the water. He then disappears in a cloud of dust, leaving a quickly-collapsing hole behind. Derek is unharmed, if somewhat dazed.-

Derek: <Woah... ugh, I think I found our "watcher".>

-Something is sitting beside Derek, still dripping water from the oasis.-

Holon City

-Umbra and Lumos approach Psyche-

Umbra: Hello, Psyche.

Rey raises an eyebrow at Silent's request-

Rey Veneno: <Okay. But I reserve the right to not answer if I feel it's too personal.>

-Meanwhile, closer to Ren, Fulmen is making impressed muffled sounds as Una is watching various shapes being formed and making mental notes-

Una: <Oooh! That pretty cool! I need to remember to try that out. Oh wait, you'll love this!>

-Una conjures both a Light Screen and a Reflect and psychically breaks, then reforms them in a kaleidoscopic pattern-

-Ren watches as Harriet and Shahinne fly towards Silent, Ren to Copahue and smiles-

Ren: -comfortingly- No need to be nervous.

-Ren takes out a few more of the seeded poffins and holds them out to Copahue-

Ren: Can I get an evaluation?

-Kirk is wandering the city, a scowl on his face as he vents his frustrations by kicking pebbles and snarling at passing Deltas.-

Illusio - Around 600 years ago

-Lucanus is not packing, on account of having nothing of value to pack. Herbert is simply sleeping on a nearby chair, exhausted.-

Theta, still on edge, levers her arm at the thing, prepared to fire off another blast of ice.

AU!Orre, Oasis Outpost

-A humon Volbeat shines his light on the object... which turns out to be a burlap sack. It falls over, and some apples roll out of it. A roll of paper can be seen sticking out form inside as well.-

Derek: <... Hm?>

-Derek takes the paper and rolls it out. On it is a map of Orre with several areas marked with Draconic characters.-

Derek: <Wait... Jackie, what do these mean?>

-The Trapinch comes over.-

Jackie: <Gosh, Derek, I dunno. It's just gibberish.>

Derek: <Or code. We'll have to take this back.>

-He reaches over and grabs one of the apples. It's very crisp and cold, and after some sniffing, smells just like a normal apple.-

Derek: <... Weird.>

So far, Theta grunts, then starts rounding up all of the mechanical parts.

<"Ey, yo smarty! Get over here! We got some tech stuff for ya!">

-General Guy begins coordinating food transport. Volta comes floating up.-

Volta: <Alright, what do we got here? Those Neandermons leave anything intact?>

<"The fuck if I know.">

Seth comes across Kirk in all his raging glory "Wow, someone's in a bad mood." he said.

Gateon Port

Jacob: -Sulks back in and heads to the Krabby Club, intending to drink his problems away even though it should technically be illegal for him, after healing up his Pokémon of course-

Jacob: -Sits down somewhere and request the strongest drink available-

-Volta goes over to the storage building and almost immediately begins inspecting things.-

Volta: <Looks like we got lucky. Most of these are in good condition. Everything except that burned-out husk of a hoverscooter should be worth the effort.>

-Kirk growls at Seth and Sylva as they pass by.-

Kirk: <Go away. Whatever you want, I'm not in the mood for it.>

Gateon Port, Krabby Club

-The bartender has no issues with serving Jacob. As his drink is being prepared, a certain familiar sweary asshole saunters over to the bar, notices Jacob, and grins.-

Deimos: Well, well, well. Looks like Titan sorted you out good and proper.
