  • Is it an adaptation?
    • Yes.
  • Does it have more than 1 season?
    • Yes.
  • Does take place in a modern setting?
    • Yes.
  • Is the name of the precious metal used in the anime as the name of a certain kind of truth?
    • I don't recall it being used that way, but don't trust my memory on that one.
  • Is the metal used as a MacGuffin in the anime?
    • No.
  • Is the anime a TV series?
    • Yes.

[up]

My question about truths was an Umineko No Naku Koro Ni reference.

Anyway:

Did it stat airing after 2000?

On an even-numbered year?

did any of the anime's individual seasons run for 3 or more cours?

[up][up]Eh, Gold (Au) is a Transition Metal.

Don't blame me for doing this.

Is the precious metal referenced:

  • Gold?
  • Silver?
  • Platinum?

First, let's get the obvious out of the way:

Is it Platinum? Working under the assumption that you consider the final part to be a separate season from the rest.

Platinum Disco?

Did the anine start airing after 2005?

[up]I'd go with your second guess, since I've already ruled out Magical Girls.

  • Is it Platinum?
    • Nope.
  • [[Nisemonogatari Platinum Disco]]?
    • DING DING DING

IT'S "PLATINUM DISCO" FROM NISEMONOGATARI!

And now, I'm off to sleep.

Puyo Puyo music. That doesn't count towards the hint total.

Well, I have absolutely no idea what that hint could mean so,

Is the anime Kirby Right Back At Ya? A Sonic anime?

Is it a Serious Business anime?

Not Kirby or Sonic (did you pick on on the Sonic Team's acquisition of the franchise?)

It is Serious Business, however, though that's more of a coincidence than anything and was not what I meant by that hint.

Well they were there so...

Is the anime Kaiji? One of the Yu Gi Oh series? Bakuman? Yes, I'm picking titles at random off of the SeriousBusiness.Anime And Manga page.

Is it a Long Runner?

Did it start airing before 2000?

It's from Yu Gi Oh, and it started airing after the year 2000 (there was a Yu Gi Oh series that started before 2000). Naturally, this means it's a Long Runner, and aimed at children.

It's the English op to Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

The hint was referring to "Ojama", the Japanese name for the garbage Puyo, and also a type of monster that Chazz uses in GX.

Your turn, Pokenatic.
