Good old Keeby.

He needs to come back.

Oh right, Keeby. I completely forgot about him. Always felt like a weird part of the franchise to me. Like "Quick, let's give the Player-2 version of Kirby a unique name!" "Uh, er, um, uh, KEEBY?!" "GIVE THAT MAN A PROMOTION! WE HAVE A WINNER!".

I prefer the Funky Area.

Is anyone playing Super Kirby Clash? I'm near the end, and apparently Galacta Knight has been renamed Aeon Hero, or at least that's another title he has.

I played through it when it came out. Love the secret addition to the lore with Aeon Hero's final form switching from sending down a rain of swords as a super attack to sending down a rain of the heart spears used to seal away Void Termina. So that heavily implies Galacta Knight was one of the four ancient heroes to seal Void Termina away.

Damn, okay. Wonder what that means for Morpho Knight, and I wonder if we've ever seen any other members of those four warriors unknowingly.

Kirby Lore: Darker than Dark Souls, more confusing than Kingdom Hearts.

I really hate how the Starlight Headdress armor for the Hammer Lord class has one floating spike on the side that is further forward than the other four floating spikes. Like, just a little patch to move that one spike further back on the Z axis can't be that hard.

I really wish Kirby Clash had an aesthetic armor system, where you wear one set for the stats but can look like you're wearing another set if you so wish - like Terraria had.

It's yet another game where imo most of the higher leveled armors have less interesting designs than the mid-level ones.

At least the DX and SDX equipment means that you can wear lower-level equipment for most of the game if you're really attached to the design.

For some reason there isn't official Kirby New Year art so, guess I'll just have to wish y'all happy New Year the normal way, without linking to a twitter post featuring Kirby New Year art..

Yeah that works.

Here's an idea, a serious Kirby fighting game. Basically, a further expansion to Kirby Fighters Deluxe (maybe called Super Kirby Fighters?) that includes a bunch of the playable characters from Star Allies (as well as maybe some others added as DLC). I think if the developers really put time and effort into making it competitive, with gameplay like Smash Bros but with HP and win conditions more like a standard 2D fighting game, it could actually be a surprise smash hit.

Not too standard, I hope. I still can't get over how fighting games don't let you run. He's Spider-Man! Running and being nimble is his thing!

I was doing some reading of previous posts in the thread (I'm a narcissist and like rereading my own posts) and I saw some talk of music (GaMetal music in particular) and I remembered: Jonny finally did a metal cover of Void after a whole, what was it, year? Two years? Of people asking. Here it is.

Well, it would probably play like a more refined version of Kirby Fighters, which is basically just Smash Bros gameplay. The only difference is that this game wouldn't have ring-outs or a percentage-based knockback system.

Does anybody know if anyone's fan translating the Kirby of the Stars Children's Novel series by Mie Takase? I'd love to check those out.

Just got to Level 100 in Super Kirby Clash, and I can't believe the whole level-up system is just a crazy elaborate "69" joke (the total EXP at Level 100 is 16,999,999).
