I want to call this "par for the course" but the inclusion of alcohol in this scenario makes this suspect in my eyes.
Ma3 has been extremely laid back about the booze-and-sex thing for a very long time. It's probably much too late to raise objections.

= Spindriver =Well, they're drinking specifically to loosen up for the threesome they just agreed to, so it's not quite as big a deal, though still sketchy.
Nine shots seems like overkill, though.
They are French Canadian. It’s almost comical how FEW shots Peggy ordered to start.
New SotR strip. Ah, distance lending enchantment to the view...
= Spindriver =New Ma3 strip is up, talking of enchanting views. Actually a bit NSFW; presumably, the advertisers are believed to be okay with the occasional butt. Or we're near enough to the end for Giz to be mumbling "the hell with it".

= Spindriver =There's sideboob and the tiniest bit of nipple too.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyNew SotR. Short-cutting some narrative necessities.
= Spindriver ="kid"? How old are they all, again?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyMarie was still in school when the whole thing started. Sandra should have at least five years on her.
New Ma3 strip is up; may be considered rather NSFW, though nothing is actually showing.
And hang on — I know that this comic makes self-referential jokes occasionally, but one this flagrant ("...in Montreal") really does look like a sign that the thing is coming to an end and the writers can't keep up the pretence any longer.
= Spindriver =I wouldn't say that was the panel saying a sign of the end. More so the last one.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyNew Ma3 strip is up. NSFW again. Madness and chaos, and not in the right way.
= Spindriver =That first panel... When did dialogue that on the nose start being a thing?
The sad, REAL American dichotomySince we entered the lightning round?
But this first panel in particular doesn't seem all that out of place. They seem to be releasing a lot of pent-up pining, and while "I want to have your babies" is pretty forward for the first time, people do get off on that kind of talk. They already got started on the stability train with buying the house, which came up semi-naturally from the earlier discussion about their living arrangements.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI didn't just mean in this comic. I've seen dialogue of that nature in other (comedy) places. Maybe it's a common thought to derive humor from stating the obvious in an over the top but still true way.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAre we talking about the dialogue, or Peggy's internal monologue?
= Spindriver =The dialogue. ...which is why I said dialogue.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyFair enough. In that case, I'm not quite clear how that dialogue constitutes "stating the obvious".
= Spindriver ="I'm gonna shoot [babies] into you"
The sad, REAL American dichotomySaying what you're doing/going to do seems like a popular thing in sex as a tool to frame what's happening in the sexiest way possible for yourself and your partner.
Fresh-eyed movie blogNew strip. Ah, the old everybody-knows-but-you joke.
= Spindriver =So that's probably out of the mood at this point. If she was ever even there to begin with.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyNew strip is up. For those collecting callbacks - this is the second time in the comic's history that somebody has suggested Yuki's mother as a possible hook-up. Whether or not she's prone to Montrealean bisexuality, I hope that the poor woman finds happiness sometime; people can evidently see that she needs it.

New Ma3 strip is up. Oh well, so much for sanity.
