So? This is a grimdark universe. In such worlds, which run parallel to a hypothetical "noblebright" counterpart (which for PMMM is Card Captor Sakura), everyone is either a bastard or a naive idealist who promptly becomes a bastard or dies (or both). Therefore it is only logical to assume that Madoka's big victory over the incubators was

A. Just As Keikaku for Kyubey

B. A Nice Job Breaking It, Hero of cosmic proportions.

The first one's kind of self explanatory, anyone got ideas for B? How can we turn the ending of this anime into the most depressing and horrific ending ever?

Apparently the new Madoka system is less efficient. The Kyubeys are getting less energy out of magical girls fighting demons than they did from magical girls fighting witches. Hypothetically, they may fail to prevent entropy death because Madoka wanted to hug people.

I dunno. I dunno where the demons even came from. My theory is that they came from coobies. Here's another question, what did the first magical girl fight? It couldn't have been witches.
