Shouldn't Jerk woobie be subjective

How come Jerk Woobie isn't listed as an subjective trope? Tropes such as Draco In Leather Pants, Base Breaker and even Misaimed Fandom get listed with the logic that they are based on audience reaction.

The thing about sympathy is, well, doesn't everyone have a different perception of who qualifies as this trope? While the might not be much argument on who or who isn't a jerk, there are people who don't think(including me), for example, that Miko or Redcloak from Order of the Stick are sympathetic

There's a thread for this called "pages that need banners" or some such.

I think the point of this is to debate whether or not it should be considered subjective, as opposed to just hastily adding it without checking with others first @ Deboss

I think if people can explain their reasonings well (instead of crap like House, just House), then it should stay as it is. And Word of God saying a character is complicated and should be pitied but not excused (like Azula or the lass in Evangelion, I think?) should count for something.

"Explaining their reasoning well" isn't enough of a reason to prevent tropes like Complete Monster from being considered subjective.
