The actual protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles X as opposed to the customizable Cross' Supporting Protagonist.

This song needs more love.Airan Jo, maybe?
Or possibly an Isa Jo/Kachi team or mutual Echo Fighter thing, since unlike Airan, they wouldn't be fighting Saki for the slot if they decided to put a Sin and Punishment character in.
I know, not too likely considering the age of the games now, but dang it, they'd be fun, I think.
I have a message from another time...This is why I wanted Lyn, Midna, Medusa, & Krystal. I still think Twili Midna got a shot to a very minuscule decree to be an echo of Zelda & Medusa being an echo of Palutena.
Medusa is likely, FE has two echoes after all. Maybe a third could happen....
Anyway, unfortunately there isn't a super highly requested female in the Smash fandom that could make the cut other than Dixie maybe.
Or they could add Birdo for the LGBQT people
Uni catI'd rather Medusa be her own character rather than an Echo of Palutena.
She's got stuff like shadowy lasers, homing projectiles, hovering mines, poison gas, and a punch strong enough to decapitate a god. And while she's never used it in battle in one of her games, there's always the classic petrifying gaze thing.
I have a message from another time...I know Lyn & Krystal were really up there, just not as much as K.Rool & Ridley.
I just saw some of Elma/Xenochronicles gameplay. Damn, I don't think I've been so easily won over before. Even faster than Dr. Coyole.
Yea, but then people will go say "Sakurai Bias" but conveniently ignore that when it comes Marx
I still can't help but get irritated how cool people are with Mario getting more reps. I'm not against any of their inclusions, but there's never this backdraft like Fire Emblem does.

Mario is the Nintendo franchise, it makes sense for it to get a ton of representation. I have more of a problem with Pokemon not getting as many characters as Mario than I do the number of characters Mario gets.
I feel like the general attitude towards Fire Emblem characters would be different if not for the rather large number of them who follow a similar aesthetic and fighting style. Robin and Corrin scrape that iceberg deeper than Chrom does. Like, I'd cheer if they somehow got a Pegasus Knight to work, or added someone like Lethe or Panne.

I have a message from another time...Yea, sure that's dandy & all but not all of us are crazy for them. And I don't appreciate double standards & selective obliviousness in general
x4 The difference is that Mario is Nintendo's flagship franchise and has a bunch of different subseries. Even K Rool is technically part of that brand. Whereas Fire Emblem is not.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundI'm not a sensitive flower that gets insecure because all those blue haired swordsmen want to stab me with their tips. I really don't care about overrepping.
Again, Fire Emble has grown a lot and has been doing better than series like Metroid and Star Fox. Plus, having a rotating cast has allowed them to get the numbers they've got now and i don't mind.
If only they could use something that isn't a fucking sword

Uni catSpeaking of, I'd like it if Zelda branched out a bit from the core Triforce trio.
I have a message from another time...x2 That's like saying anyone who doesn't have a weapon should use something other than their fucking fists.
The problem is that outside of the Triforce Trio, there aren't a lot of characters that appear in/are reincarnated throughout most of the games. Seeing as Tingle's already an AT, Impa's the only one that comes to mind. And that still might be reaching a bit.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundWell, there are FE characters that don't use swords. One of those would be welcome.
Hmmm, if the Black Knight really happens as i speculated before, i wonder how would people react to him? Most FE detractors are a lot more positive about Ike AFAIK.
Fun Fact: Ike's color palette that referenced Black Knight is gone
Uni catAdd Lana as a Bayonetta Echo Fighter. A compromise that makes everyone angry.

I have a message from another time...Hyrule Warriors really made it painfully clear to me how lacking they can be with their cast. I find it weird that none of the champions aren't even assist trophies
Could just mean he's a boss character. And it's not like Marth lost his Roy color scheme when Roy became playable.
She's still one of reincarnated/reoccurring characters or whatever they're called.

That still doesn't deny him the chance.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.Don't start again.
I'm just trying to remind the user of not jumping up to that conclusion just yet.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy. But what if he is right?
Uni cat@Enlong: Metroids are asexual, synthetic organisms.
Dark Samus is basically an aberrant amalgamation of Metroid chunks and a semi-organic radioactive mineral fused with Samus's Phazon suit and some of her DNA. The DNA is female but the Metroid and Phazon portions that make up the majority of it are asexual, so it could go either way, and indeed does; the Prime games themselves flip-flop on referring to Dark Samus with feminine or gender-neutral terms depending on context.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! Then it's fine.
The only good fanboy, is a redeemed fanboy.LGBT+ probably deserve a better character than Birdo if that's what you're using to justify her. Unless I'm wrong, Nintendo still considers Birdo "a man that thinks they're a girl" which is pretty behind the times if I'm putting it lightly.
As for female characters I'd like, it's more or less just a protagonist of Style Savvy (a deceptively popular series that people don't talk about often because it's aimed solely at women), Dixie Kong, and a few Fire Emblem characters that I like but don't have too much of a chance, namely Caeda (a Pegasus Knight with a spear), Celica (maybe, but I'm not sure if Sakurai considers Fire Emblem Echoes a new enough game to get a new character), and Edelgard (game's not even out yet, and we don't even know if she's going to be the main character or not).
Midna, Lyn, and Ashley are deconfirmed, and I haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles X so I'm neutral on Elma.
The female version of Elmo
She is more or less the protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles X. If you ignore the Avatar character
