H Onestly, while I'm buying Divine Wind (and possibly the inevitable V Icky 2 expansion) the performance issues with the Clausewitz-era games have been so atrocious that I'm probably staying out of CK 2 (whcih is too bad as it sounds neat)

Yeah, especially as (unlike the shogunate system, which is essentially a second HRE for Japan) the faction system can be modded into other countries.

I'm also excited about the new horde system.

I don't imagine my own nations to be as bad as The Draka. Just utterly ruthless in unlimited territorial expansion. In a way that is fair and kind to all loyal subjects.

The Japanese/Nazis will kill you. The Draka will rape you, murder your family, steal all your possessions, move you to the other side of the planet, sell you to another Draka who is free to rape you whenever they please, then biologically alter you so you will give birth to a child who is genetically modified to the point where they need instruction, accept it from anyone, actually love their masters and the fact they are slaves. Now, you tell me, which is worse?
