No 40K thread yet? I'm surprised. Nay, shocked, shocked I say to discover there's gambling going on in this establishment...
I'm eagerly anticipating the imminent 5th Edition release, personally, but I was interested to know if anyone here plays and has a differing opinion on it. There are certainly plenty of people out there who seem to think that 40K 4th edition "only just" came out and that a new edition isn't needed. Anyone?

Has anyone looked at this yet? I've played some of Dark Heresy but not of this new system. Has anyone had a try?

We are still at the preview stage, I have not had a look yet. D6 systems are notoriously unforgiving, though the pool mechanics may mitigate that.
Man, the write-up for the introductory adventure sounds like a one-way trip either to insanity, or the Inquisition's dungeons, and not necessarily in that order. "Mysterious plague"? That rings alarm bells to me.

Yup, Kill Team looks like an immediate buy for me. The only decision is whether I just get the rulebook, or get the box and sell off the 'stealers and Skitarii (because terrain and the board will likely be a good deal).
