Hmm...
That sounds accurate, but from what I've heard of that arcane art, sticks are involved at some point.
...Helen Raynor has the presence of six and a half women.
He's the Doctor. He could be anywhere in time and space.I like the alternate dialogue better.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe problem is that the Reset Button resolution means that no one outside of the Valient at that time knows that Martha had been awesome.
And moreover her awesomeness was really just telling people how awesome the Doctor was even though he'd been absolutely miserable to her up until then.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.TOM: That you sailed the Atlantic, walked across America. That you were the only person to get out of Japan alive. Martha Jones, they say, she's going to save the world. Bit late for that.
...I can't tell if that person is being sarcastic.
Is that person being sarcastic? Please tell me that person is being sarcastic.

"We're home, Chewie."I know that sarcasm doesn't always come over in text, but that post was pretty unambiguously sarcastic, I think.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. Is the attitude they're sarcasting at a real thing?
How dumb can people be?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYeah, that occurred to me after I posted. Sorry, just woke up, no breakfast yet, brain not running at full capacity.
"We're home, Chewie."Paradise Towers is absolutely brilliant. Also, the phrase "anal sadism" in a sentence.

How many times has the show been "changed forever" anyway? Replacing Hartnell (setting the precedent for regeneration), making the TARDIS sentient and the creation of the Time Lords are the only significant ones I can think of that couldn't really be undone. The Time War will probably always linger on as a concept, but I'm not sure if that counts. I suppose what Cartmel was planning might have counted too.
The half human thing was retconned. Companions are interchangable enough not to count, the fact they changed the types of companions the Doctor travels with is significant but not irreversible. Big changes like the earthbound era were just phases. Even changes that were meant to last have been undone.

Mumblecore (IIRC) describes a bunch of American indie films mostly in the 1990s/2000s. Low, low budget stuff with naturalistic dialogue (lots of ums and ahs).
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.Yeah, well, y'know, that's just, like, uh...your opinion, man.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I don't think The Big Lebowski qualifies, actually. I'm talking really low-budget; 'can't afford to hire professional actors'-budget.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.Oh hey thanks Wikipedia. Yeah, looks like Slacker is on that list there. I haven't seen that film so I can't comment on it, really.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.Delta and the Bannermen. Electric Boogaloo.
Also, coming back to class was a mistake. I should have called in sick. I have days left. Stupid sinuses.

Hooray, he’s kicked the ball. Now the ball’s over there. That man has it now. That’s an interesting development. Maybe he’ll kick the ball. He has indeed and apparently that deserves a round of applause.
