I didn't even know he died.
Only character I knew about dying was Kurama.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyBaryon mode is still looking goofy in the anime, to be honest.
I always thought it look weird.
Granted the manga can make anything look hideous.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."And it's still the guy who worked on the original Naruto manga.
Kishimoto did tell him to draw differently than he did but....wow has his artstyle cause such a Broken Base.
At least his art looks good when they translated it for 189.
I feel like i'm one of the few who actually liked the different artstyle. Like, it's not Kishimoto, so why even bother imitating him? I don't want a copypasta of what we got, do something new, something fun, something interesting. I liked Naruto's more mystical-looking chakra cloak and Konohamaru's afro.
Well, we've been reading Kishimoto's art for the better part of most of our lives, so an Art Shift is going to feel somewhat jarring.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Honestly I just find the art genuinely ugly.
Like even on its own merits, I don't find it has much.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Question - after the Tsunade Retrieval Arc, Orochimaru says something about "fine, I'll just get the elixir of life to fix my arms". What happened with that?
Was that just a dubism or a plot point that Kishimoto just dropped without ever elaborating on it?
That sounds like a dub thing, I do recall him saying there would be other ways he can break the thirds curse but nothing in detail.
Couldn't have just figured out a way to graft some of Kidomaru's arms onto himself or anything...
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe curse had continued to any new body he took and prevented him from actually using jutsu that required hand seals and then eventually killed his new host bodies as well for good measure.
Get phucked evil snake man. That portion of him was stuck that way too.
Come to think of it the current Orochimaru is a copy of him that was gestating inside of Anko.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).That weird little bit during the Chunin Exams where Orochimaru was questioning Kabuto's loyalty to thin air, what was up with that?
What if after Orochimaru's arms got sealed, Kabuto just decided "lol, sucks to be you!" and took over?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyTo be fair, I saw the reveal of Kabuto becoming one of the endgame antagonists way long ago. Kishimoto built him up too much, and the moment he showed up in the Search for Itachi and met Naruto, I knew Kishimoto was going to do something with him and all the research with the other Sound members.
Wonder if he accepted Yoroi and Tsurugi's death as canon. Ha, imagine if those two show up in Boruto as villains.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that with Anko. Well if she wasn't so underutilized, that could've lead into something interesting. Maybe she went onto more interesting missions and led to her having to rely on the Curse Mark (and if anyone remembers that filler arc where they had Yoroi/Tsurugi die, it reassured her that she left Orochimaru on her own terms), but the more she used it, the more risker she could turn into a demonic Orochimaru or gain her own Stage 2.
As for the Boruto anime/manga artstyle difference, it's a bit tricky. Art style will always be subjective. For me the I prefer the anime art style because unlike the endgame arc of the War, we aren't just stuck in the same gray rocks location, a lot of the locations are more varied and vibrant, giving a new energy to things, and while some argue it makes the series look childlish, excludingly 189, they've gotten away with graphic stuff before in this series with little tone down (decapitations, blood, people getting murdered, genjutsu deaths). But for some of the more gritter fights like in the manga, the art style can really shine. It's all up to preference and execution than anything else.
Oh yeah, that reminds me. According to some leaks, we're getting a second Chunin Exams.
Place your bets people, who do you want to throw down in the ring one vs one?
You guys remember this interview:
SJ: There’s many rumours regarding Madara being the absolute final villain. Is this true?
MK: Madara being the final villain is yet to be seen and I can’t let that information out just yet. But he will play a big part as a villain, that’s for sure.
SJ: Now that it’s officially known that Yondaime is Naruto’s father, will you show more of Minato?
MK: Yes, definitly. I actually wanted to reveal more about Yondaime earlier, but other characters were in development and some fights still had to be dealt with.
SJ: While we’re at it… could you please tell us if Minato was the strongest shinobi that ever lived?
MK: Hmmm, it’s a tricky question. As far as dead shinobis goes, then yes, he’s the strongest. I’d say that Sandaime shares the number one spot with him. As far as living shinobis goes… well, without going into many details I’d have to say no. There’s a couple of shinobis whose stronger than him.
SJ: Now that Itachi seems to be dead, what is Kisame going to do now?
MK: Kisame has always come off as a sidevillain whose only purpose is to travel along Itachi. But to my surprise, Kisame has gone from an unpopular character to someone whose more popular than Deidara after the Gai-fight. I won’t say too much, but Kisame is a character that wont die anytime soon. I will definitly develop on his character more and possibly make him…
SJ: Make him what?
MK: It’s a surprise.
MK = Masashi Kishimoto
SJ= Shonen Jump
My how things have changed. This interview was back in 2008 just after Itachi's death

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Before god-mode Madara and Hashirama and the Sage of the Six Paths and Kaguya (I guess she's not really a shinobi though).
By the way, is Kaguya still the most powerful thing in the verse? I don't keep up with Boruto.
I'd say Naruto lost the most power from what he got from the Sage overall, compared to Sasuke.
Secret SignatureKaguya seems to be the baddest bitch in the universe still, yes.
said so casually

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Yeah even amongst her own clan and her sons who inherited some of her power she stands above them all as unkillable.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yea it's important that he uses the phrase shinobi, which Kaguya and her sons are not. He also specifies that Minato is not stronger than currently living shinobi, meaning likely Obito.
Well this part of the story was much easily better done in the anime than the manga.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."News for Spain fans, Naruto Shippuden will be redubbed in Castillian Spanish.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.
Then just watch the early episodes since it has all the lighter moments with the Naruto characters chilling with their kids.
Man, it's like one minute people Boruto's too lighthearted, and then when it gets serious, people get mad cuz their favs might die when the plot gets too dark.
As much as I disagree with the first part of statement overall, the first 141 are more lighthearted and, have a fair balance between seeing how the older characters are living their happy endings and helping/showing off the new generation and the only old character you get to complain about dying is Onoki.
