Also it seems to reveal what happened to Naruto and Kawaki's change of heart this chapter.
Wait, you mean the manga finally caught up with the Cold Open?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Wait so we're getting a time-skip?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So Naruto was sealed in another dimension by Jigen. Jigen is also a vessel for an Otsutsuki but he is not as compatible for his power as Kawaki is implying that he will be posessed in Jigen's stead by the cold open.
So are Otsutsuki clan technically planetary looters if they basically go around growing God Trees that grow further by blood being shed on the planet just to harvest the Chakra Fruits?
I've never seen anything Boruto and I had no idea it had gotten so ridiculous. I guess this franchise is about ninjas now as much as Dragon Ball is about collecting magical items so a dragon grants you wishes.
Dragon Ball was only about that specific thing for 2 arcs.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Yea, that's been implied for quite a while. Even Kaguya's backstory implied she came to loot the planet.
I take it you stopped watching Naruto after Part 1? Part 2 was much more about magic beasts, magic eyes, and magic MAD than ninja. Ninja have always been an excuse, they haven't done ninja stuff since the pilot. The series pretended this for a while but gave up on it in Part 2. So it's as much about that as Dragonball about collecting magic items or ripping off Journey to the West. Yes they did that, for a few arcs in the beginning.

I read until the end, was just being a little cheeky.
Still, I'm familiar with the magic and superpowers, but aliens growing magic fruits are still a little flabbergasting. I mean, I know that already kinda happened near the end, but it felt like a one-in-an-eternity deal, not something that would be expanded upon.
It's like, at the very beginning it was about ninjas, then it became about ancient beasts and magical eye superpowers, and by the end it was about gods or something. But now it's about...aliens? What?

I dunno, i think the otsutsuki plot is super interesting. Easily on par with the whole Akatsuki thing. It's the weird blend of Sci Fi, magic and mythology i guess.
Its probably why Masashi Kishimoto went with Pure Scifi for Samurai 8.
That, and maybe the direction his Brother Seishi's manga, 666 Satan probably influenced his decisions for the otsuksuki plot as well.

Watch SymphogearThe Otstsuki arent really interstellar so much as interdinensional.
The Ninjas are still the main thing, especially in Boruto. But now technology and aliens are making them kinda obsolete if Ninjas don't adapt.
For their part the Aliens actually have similar skillsets as the one taught to the Ninjas Ie they use Ninja Puppets too BUT BETTER because there are no strings on them! And their own tools are magical energy weapons instead of tossing physical stuff like shurikens.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. They prolly really would haven been less of a gigantic Giant Space Flea from Nowhere if the concept of inter-dimensional beings or demons which is what they sorta are was previously built upon.
Well itβs not like adapting is very hard since it seems like most ninja tech is another variation of chakra absorption.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."You mean like that death god they summoned from another dimension, or the King of Hell? Or Obito's personal dimension? That aspect had been established for a while. Even Edo Tensei is about summoning things from another dimension, even if that dimension's where the dead go.

Okay further built upon then.
Itβs easy to forgot the Shinigami Grim Reaper Death God......... Huh thatβs a rare sentence.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's true. But IMHO that's kinda the signature problem of the 4th war arc: loads of things get talked about but not all that much gets explained or elaborated upon. Kishimoto clearly still had plenty of ideas left, but he wanted to end on a specific chapter and so he did.
A lot of ideas needed to fleshed out and expanded upon but Kishimoto had to end his story somehow.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."Ya know, I feel odd when I realize I started to read Naruto back when Tobi was still the weird oddball goofy phasing guy and him being the actual Big Bad was a meme
Has the series revealed how far this latest time skip is, yet? I just care about what happened to the characters we grew up with. And Naruto's daughter.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyBort is sixteen in the opening so three yearsish.
Also geez, Boruto anime fights sure are better than in manga O-o; Even the Shin Sr. is actually pretty impressive in at least one scene in Anime while he is super underwhelming in manga
Uh....
Damn Otsutsuki backed government
Secret Signature
That arc/movie was not Menma related
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
