Wait, how is Kimmimaro's clan related to Kaguya? She had only two sons and one went to the moon while the other is the progenitor of Senju and Uchiha.

...

I think it's Naruto who called Sasuke "Shadow Hokage", or at least the wiki tells me so.

Kaguya is where Kimmimaro got his bone powers from.

It's not like Hagoromo's ONLY descendants are Senju/Uchiha. The Uzumaki are descended from Asura as well. The Kin/Gin brothers were suspected to have descended from the Sage as well.

Some descendants formed the clans, but others likely spread out all over.

Not much in this weeks episode of Bolt besides Inojin now having a pet baby Akuta. Also them deciding to go to Onoki for aid at the end.

So, have general opinions of Naruto improved over the years and with the addition of Boruto?

Ive seen complaints all over the place but there have been good arcs in Bolt, but they do need to cut down on the unnecessary episodes to arcs. Mitsukis current arc had one this week.

It is funny knowing people assume they are only fighting aliens and that the manga is somehow more serious and *Flashbacks to the chapter where Naruto, Kawaki, and Bolt were all using the bathroom for a chunk of it* yeah good luck with that.

TBH, aliens are at least more interesting than the off-brand Akatsuki in the manga.

When I was a lad, Naruto was a poor-man's Dragon Ball. But those two things could get bent because Yu Yu Hakusho was better than either.

Now? Boruto is tonally, narratively, and maybe even visually superior to Dragon Ball Super. But those two things can get bent because My Hero Academia allegedly is where it's at.

Being superior to Super isn't hard.

Wouldn't it be more fitting to use another sequel series instead of MHA BNHA?

Indeed it would but MHA is the current big thing & is called a Naruto rip-off in some cases so people make the comparison.

Though Boruto does have a focus on a school setting like MHA which makes the comparison a bit more apt in that case.

I guess Dragon Ball's the odd one out in both cases.

And Super was still incredibly popular despite all of the complaints levied at it. Boruto, I couldn't say which is partially why I asked.

I’m not sure how to judge a show’s popularity but Boruto is still going on 70+ episode strong so clearly it’s doing something right.

I mean would it be still be a thing if it wasn’t doing well?

It also got a plum time slot, indicating some serious success.

I don't imagine anyone's opinion about the original manga changing, but Boruto making people change their minds about it in retrospect is even less likely considering its a direct product of everything people tend to still dislike about Naruto.

I will only truly change my mind about it when Sauce & Sakura finally get a divorce.

I was genuinely surprised by this weeks episode. Aftr a little bit of exploring the Stone, we learn Onoki is the mastermind of the Mitsuki arc. The preview also strongly implies the Artificial Humans they are making are likely to keep the peace, so probably to fight the Okutsuki.

Also Konohamaru is probably Anbu

What's this? An actually clever, unexpected plot twist? In my Boruto?!

Also, wow, for ninjas, they're really lousy with infiltration.

Its supposed to represent how safe Onoki made the Stone. Which makes how heavily guarded Konoha is hilarious.

Also glad Inojin has a Akuta as a pet. Fits him being a ninja whose art comes to life.

So since Ku is Ohnoki's son that makes him Kurotsuchi's uncle and probably the father of the one grandson that died then.

Huh I’m rather glad that even in his extremely advanced old-age, Onoki is still doing shit.

I respect that, the day he will truly retire is the day he dies.

You know this means Onoki meeting Mitsuki before this arc was all setup for this arc since the Sekiei and the rest were sent to Konoha not long afterwards.
