Didn't we already establish that Sasuke doesn't belong on that list? It was just an illusion, and even if it wasn't, we're talking residents, not visitors.

I'd take out Sasuke and Naruto's evil side, since, you know, it's technically just another part of his personality.

Was rereading the invasion arc since we are one week away from sage Naruto kicking some ass - and now I'm reminded again how annoyed I am that was haven't seen Hinata again yet in the manga. graaaaaah.

Yeah, i like how they somehow managed to devote half the episode to people getting up off the ground.

In their defense, most of about 2 chapters was pretty much reaction shots for that time period. And the pacing is still way better than the rescue gaara arc, sadly.

Plus them getting up from there is important because it showed they were, you know, alive which we don't care about because we already know that from reading the manga.

OK, look at this screencap from the first episode◊ and notice those two figures, then notice neither was there in the corresponding scene of the manga. Who the hell are those two?

On a different note, is it possible that whatever Madara used to replace his arm is also what Deidara used to replace his left arm? We know he was able to replace his right arm by having Kakuzu reattach it with his threads, but was it ever explained how he got the arm Gaara ripped off with his sand back?

^ I don't know, honestly I like Kishi's 'new' (he's using it since.. what.. 25 volumes?) style, but my favorite would be a mixture of his new style with his old good sense for coloring and dramatic shadowing. Sometimes the drawings turn.. I don't know, too flat.

My artistic skills, both when it comes to drawing and analyzing suck, so make of that what you want.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Kushina thing might be a... Well, a kind of catharsis thing? Basically that Naruto is going to confront his abondonment issues? He did punch his dad after all.

^ Possibly, and honestly, I would prefer it, since the other possibility is basically Naruto losing to Kyuubi and Kushina appearing and going all 'no problem, Naruto, mommy helps you'.

Yeah, I know that's pretty immature of me, but I don't read shonen for mature themes.

The end-quote (which I admit is not always neccessarily well-translated and often border on Blatant Lies anyhow) did say something like "At the bottom of Naruto's hatred: His mother!!!!!" (seriously, what's up with the exclamation marks?)

@Raw Power: When I said "shaved wolfman" I just meant that one panel, and it was in reference to the odd angle and how there was more hair.

Also, I don't think it's just Art Evolution or a redsign, its appearance when it doesn't have a host is fairly consistent (he looks almost the same here and that was chapter 399) but it changes every time Naruto sees him in his head. Most of those visits only show little if any of it, when he fought Sasuke the first time after the Time Skip it looked like it was made of boiling fat, and now he's taking a form that's like his real form but somewhat more athropomorphic and less detailed.

The lack is detail this time is probably more than anything because he has to drawn him in more than one panel so he can't use an insanely detailed design.
It's like how in Gundam Wing the Mobile Suits were only rendered in full detail when they were in their hangers.

On a completely different note, when look that up I found this. That makes like five techniques which got used again when he fought Pain.

^^ Should I be surprised at his lack of genitalia, or could it be that, despite appearances, this is a polite Fox?

I've a feeling Kishi is gonna tweak with this chapter for its volume release; parts of it just felt somewhat rushed to me.

Naruto's fox toss was win, though.

Whats next, Eva-01 gets into Naruto's head somehow? If anyone else appears in naruto's head, it confirms that his head is a motel. Feel free to enjoy the stay.
