• Awesome Music: Daniel Hart's jangly, nervous and yet lyrical music is a high point of the film. It's obvious why Lowery would bring Hart back to do the music on all of his later projects.
• Retroactive Recognition: Rami Malek shows up in a minor role as Will, the motorist whom Bob abducts in the final act. Malek lost out on the role of Sweetie and received this role as a consolation, but would go on to become a much larger name.
