• Ensemble Dark Horse: Sequoia earned plenty of fans thanks to Maurissa Tancharoen's hilarious performance and her unique Instagram story of Sarge's raid on Deke's offices for The Stinger.
• Idiot Ball: For a group who claims their goal is to hunt and kill Shrikes, it was astonishingly short-sighted of Sarge's crew to shank one and then leave the corpse out in public given that they know the knife needs to stay embedded for at least 6 hours or it will just revive and fly off to take another host.
• Narm:
  • When Sarge's crew start shooting up Deke's office, any tension in the scene is utterly ruined by the fact that there's an extra in the background trying to escape on a hoverboard scooter.
  • Deke all but winking directly at the camera at the end of the pre-credits scene, a style of humor far from the show's usual tone.
