• Growing the Beard: This episode is considered one of the turning points for VeggieTales. Compared to previous episodes with lighthearted plots that have a dark edge, this was the first to have a more cinematic feel to the story (complete with an ambitious, but still simple musical score). The addition of Larry-Boy helps, despite the fact he never actually saved the day.
